First 8,000 miles so far
So far the most enjoyable, comfortable and trouble free vehicle I have ever owned. The day after taking delivery my wife and I embarked on a 4500 mile trip. It is not an exaggeration to say that it was like going from the 1950 technology, that I learned to drive on, to stepping into the space age. I highly recommend spending a few days learning the technology at home rather on the expressway!
Now that I’ve served my driving apprenticeship I can say this is the safest car I have ever driven. The blind spot monitoring, the adaptive cruise control, the automatic breaking system and the hundreds of sensors all give me a great feeling of security.
There are a few things that I feel could be improved on however. The hybrid gas mileage has been a disappointment, the steering column should be power tilt/trim, there should be some where for loose change, somehow the airflow over the tailgate needs to be altered to keep it clean and snow free.
Would I buy again based on first 8,000 YES!
