I bought my Palisade Calligraphy in January 2024. The vehicle has so many safety features. It rides well on the road. It has no mechanical issues. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Months of Poor Communication Over a Simple Warranty Repair

My experience with AutoNation Hyundai Tempe's service department has been extremely frustrating. I originally brought my 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy in on May 15, 2026 and specifically reported an issue with the driver's-side mirror. The paperwork documented the mirror problem, but when my vehicle was returned to us, no one explained the diagnosis, warranty status, repair cost, or next steps. I later learned through follow-up calls that the mirror had been assessed. I was eventually told the replacement part had been ordered and needed to be painted. After numerous calls and attempts to get updates, Service Manager Tommy Tufano emailed me on July 14 stating that the mirror “was approved and ordered” and was at the body shop waiting to be painted. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into months of me repeatedly contacting the dealership for information. At one point, I was even told that my original service advisor, Max, claimed nothing had been ordered because we supposedly refused to pay. That was extremely concerning because we were never given a repair estimate, price, or amount to approve or refuse. The mirror was eventually painted and returned to the dealership, and I was contacted to schedule installation. I appreciate that the repair was ultimately moved forward, but the communication and handling of this situation were far below what I expected. Customers should not have to spend months calling and emailing just to find out the status of a repair or receive basic information about what is being done to their vehicle.

Enjoyed this vehicle, great driving experience, comfortable, power when needed, decent fuel mileage, vehicle took a rear impact from semi truck and everyone walked away with minor injuries withstood impact well, replaced with 2025 same model

Comfortable Ride

I purchased the vehicle in February of 2026 (2025 Palisade Cali). SO far the vehicle runs great and is fun to drive. My only concerns are that it seems to be high maintenece, specifically I have to change the oil more often (5K miles) according to several sources and It's recommended I add a fuel injector cleaner every time I fill up. Also it seems the resale value is not as good as Toyota. So overall I think it's a good vehicle but may be looking to trading it in soon.

Window wind noise

Hyundai won’t stand behind their warranty and replace the front doors and windows as they have made all the adjustments on windows that they said they can and that we have to live with the loud wind noise from windows.

My Vehicle Review

Overall, I do enjoy my vehicle, but there are some things I feel that can be improved. The seats are not comfortable at all when driving long distance. Also, my battery just went out after 2 years 2mths. I feel like it should have lasted longer.

Peeling paint

The paint issue is aweful if not only is white but the black vehicles as well. Told that my bumper and grill were all due to road wear no no it wasn’t and declined to be fixed and it is only worse now on the sides. It is a known issue yet customer service was aweful from hyuandai even when dealership said it would be fixed but approval process said different and not in a nice manner
