Great car, inadequate recall fixes

The car is great, lots of room, and I love the tech, such as heads up display, lane keeping, parking assist, almost self drive, and advanced cruise control. But the 2024 has 4 recalls. 2 were fixed, the part for the 3rd is on a 5-6 month backorder( and this is on seatbelts!), the 4th I elected not to do yet bc they must remove the factory applied window tint on 2 windows to fix it and WILL NOT REPLACE the tint. All if that is on Hyundai, and they should make it right and return the car to me in the same condition as I brought it to them. Very disgusted with their customer service regarding recalls. Can't believe they won't make their mistakes right now, ridiculous.

2024 Palisade Review

I truly enjoy my Palisade with two exceptions. One being the rear shocks. They have been replaced twice for popping sounds at low speed and when pulling into my driveway or going around a corner at slow speeds. The current set still makes a popping sound but not quite as bad. The other annoying thing is the hesitation/jerking when accelerating from a slow speed. I plan on getting another Palisade and I really hope these issues will have been corrected.

Comfort

I belong to a a Hyundai owners forum and there a lot of complaints about the reliability of the GDI engine. I’m going to change oil at 4000 miles to keep it in good shape and reliability. Hyundai should be honest about the issues regarding the GDI engine, and offer a program to make the carbon buildup reduced.

2024 Hyundai Pallisade Calligraphy

Great looking car. Great pickup. Not as comfortable or as well made as my 2020 Palisade Calligraphy. This one has terrible issues with slamming on breaks in traffic as cars start to pull off. The side view gets confused with cars in lanes beside it. Fortunately I have not been hit from behind. I have to disable the front collision warning system to prevent this issue.

Sensors

The only issues I’ve had with my Palisade is the main sensor going out after 2 years and me having to wait 2 weeks to get it replaced other than that i would have give it a 5

Alternator failed at 31K

Alternator dies at 31,000 miles with a warning in the morning of the red battery. Went to leave work and NOTHING. Had to get towed. It is 2 years old (2024) calligraphy with 31K miles. This should not have happened.
