Awesome vehicle

Bought it used but it had very low mileage. A great vehicle with a lot of options that I’m still learning about. The emails I get from Hyundai have been very helpful for me to get to know the car.

Very nice vehicle, solid, good acceleration, and quiet. It does, however, lack power folding rear view mirrors, which are an option on other Hyundai cars at lower price points.

2024 Palisade Review

The 2024 Palisade is not a bad vehicle, it just is not a great vehicle. Many things in the interior feel like they were added as an after thought. The drink/bottle holder in the driver door is too small and the limited space between seat and the door makes it difficult to put a bottle in or take it out. The wireless phone charger is located at the bottom of the center console storage and is a slot that you have to put the phone it. Small items that you put in the storage console get pushed into the slot and make it difficult to put a phone in or even access the wireless charger. The "pedal" style shifters mounted on the back of the steering wheel are not intuitive and my fingers often hit the wiper/headlight controls when I try to use them. I always have to look at the controls to remember which is "+" and which is "-". To deactivate them you either have to let it time out or you have to move your hand to press the "D" shift. The KIA use of the hand shifter that you tip to the side and press up or down is much more intuitive.

Great car with a lot of amazing features!

The 2024 Palisade is great car it basically drives itself with numerous safety features and it has an excellent sound system, handles well on the road and in the city. The heated steering wheel, heated and cooled front and back seats makes it great for any temperature. It has very good pickup whenever you need it. The bucket seats in the front and second row are comfortable even on long trips. And with the third row it easily holds 6 people. And even with the second row bucket seats it has plenty of cargo space. My only complaint is it could be quieter on the highway.

Close to perfect

There are just about 28,000 miles on the car, and we still love it, but there are just a couple of issues that continue to annoy. I find the transmission to be greatly inferior to the rest of the car. It is very reluctant to downshift, and when you push it harder, it drops down 2-3 gears lower. I drove a GV80 recently and its trans was like silk. I know that a Hyundai is NOT a Genesis, but I suspect the trans issue I describe is more of a software than hardware issue. The other issue is the glass. There seems to be something (a coating?) on the exterior surface of the glass that has become hazy, again not terribly, but certainly noticeable, especially in bright sunlight. Other than those, I have nothing but good to say about this car. We've had a Hyundai or Genesis since 2005 and every one has treated us well.

Hyundai is the BEST

I am on my NINTH Hyundai. I would not continue to purchase Hyundai's if I did not think they were top-tier automobiles. I would take my Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy over ANY other SUV on the market. It is that gooooooood.
