2025 Palisade has had 4 recalls as of April 2026

I like it, but the lease covered maintenance is oil change every 7500 miles. The LAMBDA II engines are known to blow up, explode bearings, suffer from excess carrier bearing movement and destruction. The solution has been multiple recalls. Engine runs rough, runs loud, crazy sounds when you first start it up. I've had Hyundai vehicles since 2013 and this is the last one.

2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy

18,500 miles after 14 months of ownership. No issues. It’s been flawless. Just oil changes and tire rotations free so far via Hyundai. I’ve changed the engine and cabin filter myself as it’s as easy as can be. Also added Hyundai approved Tektron gas additive to keep the fuel system clean.

2025 Hyundai Palisade

Mostly great. I wish it would auto connect to car play without needing to be plugged in. All of the recalls are unsettling especially since I got this vehicle thinking it was so much more dependable than my previous - which was a brand new Mazda CX90, which ended up being a lemon. Unfortunately I couldn’t wait the estimated six more months for battery to arrive from overseas and lost $20k trading in for my Hyundai. Then Mazda gave owners new vehicles or full refund. I felt like the palisade isn’t a brand new make and model so there wouldn’t be issues. I’ve had upper and lower oil pan leaks, seat belts replaced and now concerned about the third row seating failure.

Best vehicle we have ever had

We have been extremely pleased with our Palisade (the Calligraphy trim). Cannot beat the “bells and whistles”. The gas mileage could be better (we get 26 which is okay but wish it got 30). The ride and handling is stellar!
