2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy

My wife and I love the vehicle. A few items noted within the first month of owning it. 1 - The driver left foot rest is easy to hit when exiting the vehicle and the plastic broke quickly. Awaiting dealership to repair. 2 - The driver experience for a fairly tall and larger individual ( I am 6' 250lbs) is not the best. The seat does not retract far enough to allow easy exit from vehicle and the steering wheel does not telescope out quite far enough. I have to extend my arms just a bit too far for total comfort. I have the seat set where my legs are the proper pedal distance for comfort and then have to stretch a bit to reach the steering wheel. 3 - Minor quality of life issue...the clock is not displayed anywhere all the time. We have to be on specific menu's to see the clock. (Thinking this is an easy software update) *Note: - The comfort rating below is low due to the issues with larger people having issues with exiting the vehicle and the steering wheel needing to telescope another inch or two. - The reliability is lower since just a month or so after our purchase you had a serious recall involving the rear seat not detecting when to stop moving forward and potentially causing serious injury. We have grandkids that we take to school a few times a week and this was very concerning. On the positive side: 1 - We love the ride. It is smooth and quiet. 2 - The turning radius is outstanding. Makes life easy for parking. 3 - Seats overall or incredibly comfortable. Love them.

Too many problems

This is my third Palisade. 2021, 2023, 2026. First two were perfect. The 2026, currently 2,600 miles, has numerous recalls, problems with auto seat folding, I crushed a package , no washer fluid, faulty sprayer, radio keeps going to my iPhone, tailgate fails to stop opening when it hit the overhead garage door.

Great Vehicle

Hyundai does it again. This is our 2nd Palisade. Comfortable, well-appointed, and fun to drive. Love everything except for the removal of the free scheduled maintenance.

Penny the Palisade is ....

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Limited, which I purchased on January 10th. My vehicle is currently at McFarland Hyundai for recall service, and I must express my disappointment regarding the frequency of recalls so shortly after purchase. While I appreciate the Palisade XRT loaner provided during this service, my experience with both vehicles has raised several performance and safety concerns. First, I have noticed a significant performance gap; my Limited model lacks the torque and acceleration found in the XRT. Furthermore, the XRT drivetrain is notably smoother, whereas the Limited has a stiff suspension that makes road imperfections quite noticeable. Regarding safety, I believe Hyundai should equip vehicles delivered to northern regions with tires better suited for winter conditions, such as the Continental tires found on the XRT. The Kumho Majesty tires on my Limited lack necessary grip; on two occasions, I experienced dangerous sliding while in snow mode, which has made me hesitant to drive the vehicle in winter weather. In comparison, my previous 2020 Kia Telluride provided much more confidence in snow, even with worn tires. While the Palisade’s headlights offer superior visibility, these traction issues remain a primary concern. Additionally, the fuel economy on both Palisade models is disappointing, as I am averaging only 15 mpg on country roads. This, combined with engine lag when merging onto highways, has been quite frustrating. On a positive note, I do enjoy the premium features of the Limited, specifically the Cloud Gray interior, the ambient lighting, and the Bose sound system. I hope these performance and safety issues can be addressed to ensure the driving experience matches the high quality of the vehicle's interior. My SUV broke down with less than 1000 miles on it. Very disappointing.

With a bad oil sensor valve, the car broke down. It took a week to repair.

Great car but lacks some

Great car for the most part the power from the v6 is below my standards eco and normal lack in the middle power . Sports mode is weird on transmission bad gear changing. Had to redo brake rotors at 10k miles 2 recalls no real support other then don't use rear seats. Button placement could have been better .

Had the car about two months and is on it's 3rd battery....

Was really enjoying the 2026 palisade at first! Then the car wouldn't start! We didn't even have it for 2 months!!!! The battery was jumped and when driving the car on the driveway (only was on for 5 minutes, the car just died - and it wasn't even in Park mode!!!) It was towed to the dealership where they had to replace the battery. A few days later, the car wouldn't start again! And when the tow truck tried to jump it, it didn't work. So another new battery. We are scared to drive it, as we don't know if the car will just die....

Too many issues with recalls for a new vehicy

- air flaps in the front, or service tech had no cue why only passenger was opening or both should be open and they are not independent had to show them online issues. Had to tell them to order both the harness and actuator as they were unsure how to troubleshoot the problem. - Recall for second and third row seat folding. Seems this issue would have been tested prior to release.
