Great little truck

This vehicle has been pretty much trouble free enjoy driving it. The back eat is a little cramped but I don’t have more than one passenger at a time.

Great vehiclem exceot for bed cover

Great power, good gas mileage. Had to finally pay dealer to remove bed cover, and threw it away. Piece of garbage. I understand there is a recall on it, but I couldnt wait for the fix. Buy one, but without bed cover.

Perfect Soccer Mom Car.

We use this compact truck to haul my childs medical equipment to and from everywhere, and we still have room to spare. We needed a vehicle with better storage, and I'm beyond happy I chose the Hyundai Santa Cruz. Its compact enough to back right up in a friends backyard to drop off 14 bags of soil from the hardware store, easily going through hospital parking lots or narrow streets, and large enough to haul needed medical equipment and more.

It’s got some quirks and Hyundai won’t acknowledge them.

I’ve reviewed this about a year ago. Still have the same issues. In smart mode (default) the car stutters when in a cold start. Like the transmission is slipping. When you change drive modes to sport it goes away and if you just deal with it it will go away once the car gets up to temperature. Hyundai says they can’t make it do it but the online forums are full of people with the same issues. It anlso burns oil at 40k Other than that it’s a pretty solid car. Small back seat.

Comfortable and reliable

I enjoy driving my little "Truck" It has good pick up and is easy to handle. I do not like that I can't open the back window without crawling into the back seat. The auto door locks do not work well. Maybe 50% of the time.

View using the rear view mirror is poor. I realize you have cameras but you don't have a fish-eye lense on the rear camera. When backing up it is hard to see wider views that are left and right of the vehicle. I don't like the meters being used for cameras use a flat screen by the radio. Vehicle needs better mileage. It needs a smaller turning radius, my pilot has a smaller radius. We bought this used I believe it was certified not sure, we bought it from a Ford Dealer; it had ~3K miles.

Great Overall

Only issues i have are soft brakes and slight motor tick. Rides like Cadillac so smooth comfortable. Great on long trips back seat lil tight if you are taller person. But overall great vehicle.
