Overall Solid! A few minor issues, but so far in 83,000 miles good. Gas cap cover has the usual glitch, which is more so effected by cold weather. Apple car play is moody.

I love it the only improvement it could us is the seal between the tonneau cover and the tailgate. When it rains everything by the tailgate get wet.

The Santa Cruz is it a Car or a Truck ????

I enjoy my 2024 Santa Cruz. It works well for me and my dog, but would be restrictive inside if you had a family. Back seats have limited floor space behind front seats. Fun to drive, the SEL is full of safety and comfort features.

Bugs!

My starter button doesn't start the vehicle consistently. I took it to the dealership, and initially they saw the problem and agreed. THEN the said it was a battery problem, which I tried to explain why that didn't make sense, and they tried to gaslight me. They wouldn't really listen until I told them I am engineer and they finally listened. Then the said the BMS had a fault. They replaced it, which then apparently affected the FOBs. I found tjis out when I had to leave the state, and my husband needed the truck. His FOB didn't work, and my FOB was with me. The dealership sent a tow truck- which could not unlock the tires to load it. So he had to DRAG the vehicle onto the tow bed. They fixed it so my husband's FOB works to start the truck - and now minw won't work. They told him they don't know why the tired couldn't unlock, and they would need the truck back for service to troubleshoot it. AND THE CAR STILL ISN'T STARTING consistently when I push the start button. The vehicle has less than 10k of miles. I would trade it in for a different car if it wouldn't put me upside down in a car loan.
