Great truck

I wanted to have a truck and for me, usually other trucks were bigger than I needed. Hyundai Santa Cruz 2024 is just perfectly fit for me. It has enough bed space. Also, it is really nice to drive. Super smooth handling and nice suspension. Overall, it has good looking design, nice and easy driving, and enough space to store items. I want to say that it is inbetween truck and SUV. Anyway, I love this vehicle.

Classy, Versatile & Fun

I live in the hill country of the southern tier of New York state. It can be pretty rugged terrain, and I am back and from between dirt roads and paved roads. I am often in the manual mode due to the hills. I have learned a few tricks, and regularly beat the gas mileage ratings. I even use it on the highways, for I have found that when the auto steps down for hills it goes down to 6th gear. I drop it from 8th to 7 just before I start to climb which allows me to maintain my speed at a lower rpm. I have not had a single issue with my Santa Cruz. and I regularly recommend it when someone asks.

I bought bumper to bumper warranty. One of the panels inside front passenger wheel well came loose and was flopping as I drove down the highway and I was told trim is not covered?

Some simple things make it a not so great experience

Seems sturdy enough and the 4 1/2 bed is more useful than you might think. Hyundai requires you to activate the advance guidance and auto high beams each time the car is started.

A Good Vehicle So Far

It’s a pretty good ride. Seats could be a little better, and the headlights need to be higher up to get better coverage. Beyond that, it’s been everything I expected, so far. I convinced a co-worker to buy one over a Ford Maverick.

2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Tonneau Cover

Our tonneau cover was determined by dealership on 7/7/25 to be broken and has been on back order now for 6 weeks. We believe this is a ridiculous amount of time to be waiting. This agitation has only added to our frustration with Hyundai in general based on the awful experience purchasing it at Napleton Hyundai in Carmel, Indiana.

A Really Nice Truck

The truck looks good and the interior is comfortable and visibility is good. It has enough power for my needs. With the bed cover, the truck is almost like a SUV when needed and also a pickup truck when needed.
