A Good Vehicle So Far

It’s a pretty good ride. Seats could be a little better, and the headlights need to be higher up to get better coverage. Beyond that, it’s been everything I expected, so far. I convinced a co-worker to buy one over a Ford Maverick.

2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Tonneau Cover

Our tonneau cover was determined by dealership on 7/7/25 to be broken and has been on back order now for 6 weeks. We believe this is a ridiculous amount of time to be waiting. This agitation has only added to our frustration with Hyundai in general based on the awful experience purchasing it at Napleton Hyundai in Carmel, Indiana.

A Really Nice Truck

The truck looks good and the interior is comfortable and visibility is good. It has enough power for my needs. With the bed cover, the truck is almost like a SUV when needed and also a pickup truck when needed.

Small Truck Meets Expectations

This is a nice small truck that we bought for throwing beach stuff in the back and going to the beach. It’s perfect. Also able to go to Home Depot/Lowe’s and load the back up. Great little vehicle.

Great comfortable truck

First pickup truck ever. Comfortable and well equipped. Got top model and has almost all the features that could be desired. Major things missing— fully electric power passenger seat, parking assist monitors, power side mirrors.

Great vehicle, except the entertainment system

The 2024 Santa Cruz is a great all around vehicle. The ride is comfortable, the gas mileage is solid, and having the extra storage is nice. The back seats are short on foot space, but passable. The entertainment system, radio, usb drive, etc. is the most non-intuitive, user-unfriendly piece of garbage ever designed. The usb reader is garbage and randomly mixes up you tracks, just getting it to play all tracks in a folder is a chore, and it is impossible to use the entertainment system without taking your eyes off the road, which makes it ever more useless. Everything else about the vehicle is good, but if I could go back in time, I wouldn't buy it again just because the radio, mp3 player, satellite, etc. is offensively bad.

All in all a very nice vehicle. We became a Hyundai family after purchasing this Santa Cruz new in January of 2024. We are also proud owners of a 2025 Hyundai Kona Limited Edition as well as a 025 Hyundai Kona N-Line Sport. Totally sold on the quality and value of this brand.
