Pros and Cons

Pros: Looks great. Rides smooth. Extending bed and abundance of storage are great. Excellent gas mileage. Large backup screen is nice. Lots of bells and whistles, which leads me to the cons... Cons: The instructions in the manuals do not match the actual procedures for accessing and changing menu items (even the dealer was confused!). Lane assist will not always read lane shifts in construction zones, pulling you into barriers and cones or causing wrecks. One day we witnessed our car windows go down, in a rainstorm, when we were in our home and not one was near the app or fob (yes, there are witnesses) so the sensor/electronic system is awful. The clock location changes between screens also, which is annoying. It's a love-hate relationship.

All good

Love everything about the car except, and this is a big one…the backup camera feature that sends the car into a lurching stop. It’s going to get me killed one day. I live on a main road and if forget to shut it off every single time I start the car it stops me aggressively because of traffic in the other lane that I am not entering. So frustrating!

Great little truck

I love everything about this truck. Suspension is superb! Very nice smooth ride even over rough roads. I always have my head against the head rest. Nothing worse going over rough roads and the head rest vibrates. Thankfully this does not happen. Back seat has plenty of room. Plus it's a sharp looking truck. Huge bonus is the built-in cooler with drain. Perfect vehicle for me.

Santa cruz

There is no heating coil so it takes more than an hour to get heat in the winter. It doesn't tell you if there is a stationary item behind it. It doesn't tell you if there is a person or animal behind you. The square black thing on the windshield started falling off 2 days after I brought it home and it had not even been touched.

Perfect truck for my lifestyle.

This truck is comfortable, efficient, looks great, and is perfect for what I need. I had a Subaru Baja and didn't think I would ever find such a great truck again, but the Santa Cruz is that and much more. Whether loading up mulch for the garden, taking the bike on the trail, getting to the ski slope or going antiquing, this truck is perfect. Lots of space for the family and great curb appeal. And with Car Play and Android Auto, I am fully connect for work, play, and directions. I love it!
