Rides nice. Wish there was a CD player. A little gutless. Cruise control doesn't work well if there is any wind or a small hill.

This vehicle is a cross of my 3 favorite vehicles, "96 Subaru outback, 2003 ford 7700 4x4 and my Suzuki Samurai tin top. The 2.5T engine is not lacking the power you need on the highway or on the back country roads

What most people really need in a pickup

I have a 2024 XRT Santa Cruz. It gets excellent mpg, has a comfortable ride and great handling characteristics. It's easy to park and maneuver anywhere. I have carried eight foot building materials on occasion with no problems whatsoever. But most of the time the bed is empty, like most pickups. So I have a great ride in an upscale interior with very good gas mileage without trying to handle a huge vehicle that costs a great deal more to operate. It's perfect for the occasional hardware stores garden center run without costing a small fortune to buy or operate.

I've always wanted a truck. This one is perfect for plants, drive-in movies, and all the outdoor things I do. The cameras are beneficial for parking lots and tight spaces.

Santa Cruz almost has the best of both worlds.

The Santa Cruz tries to combine the comfort of an SUV with the practicality of a light truck. It very nearly does. The front seats are as roomy and comfortable as any midsize SUV. Packed with all the features one could ask for. The backseat is a stiff, squished afterthought. The vehicle would be better off making the back seats fold down and adding a foot to the bed. The bed itself is thoughtfully designed with lots of practical additions that make it great for handling small loads. With a closed length of only 4 feet, hauling anything over 5 feet becomes a nuisance. It would be nice to have a hybrid version as well.

Great truck

I wanted to have a truck and for me, usually other trucks were bigger than I needed. Hyundai Santa Cruz 2024 is just perfectly fit for me. It has enough bed space. Also, it is really nice to drive. Super smooth handling and nice suspension. Overall, it has good looking design, nice and easy driving, and enough space to store items. I want to say that it is inbetween truck and SUV. Anyway, I love this vehicle.
