99.9 percent approval. The only thing I would change is to move the controls for seat warmer and seat a/c to the dashboard below radio for easier access.

2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited is competitively priced, fun to drive vehicle with excellent power, safety features, and interior amenities. Two exterior issues and one complaint about the interior kept me from giving the Santa Cruz a 5-star rating. First, the tonneau cover broke. It was covered by the vehicle's warranty, so it was not a big deal. Second, the outside wheel molding fell off while I was driving on an interstate freeway. Other than hearing a loud noise, I had no clue what had happened. This part was not covered by the vehicle's warranty because I did not retrieve the part! This catch-22 is absurd given how dangerous walking along a 70+ mile/hour freeway and not knowing where it would be. Third, the passenger seat should be the same as the driver's seat and have buttons to adjust height and distance.

Dan’s Santa Cruz

I have been very satisfied with my Santa Cruz It has been working fine until this last Tuesday. My check engine lite came in and the vehicle diagnostics said to get it into service to get the code checked. Which I did. I was informed that the no 1 cylinder had misfired. My concern is the reliability of the engine when you have a miss fire. Many things can get out of place and cause many other problems. I was told by the dealership that this has been happening. I’ll have to wait till I get the vehicle back but I have a problem with trusting the engine as I do a lot of long distance traveling. Time will tell!!! Not sure I can trust its reliability.

Great drive

Overall I think the Santa Cruz is a great drive gets pretty good gas mileage for a small truck. We've taken it on many trips and are very happy with it. We just wish we would have bought the towing package with it.

Love everything about this vehicle except for when it “hesitates” going from first to second gear. This can be dangerous when you’re pulling out in front of traffic.
