Santa Cruz Transmission

I’m not certain that the transmission on The HYUNDAI Santa Cruz won’t breakdown again: I had mine replaced and I have had the truck for a little over a year (2024). I’m happy that my truck is under warranty, your warranty is awesome! The service I received from AutoFair HYUNDAI in Manchester, NH, was very helpful. But, again, after reading the latest consumer reports, the HYUNDAI‘s transmission is very troubling, and frequently replaced.

Good SUV/Truck, just enough room to haul light loads. The placement of the heated seats buttons are not good because they are easily hit. Looks nice, tough getting in and out for seniors. Overall I probably won't buy another.

It always sounds like it has a little exhaust leak, but the guy at the dealer said all the Santa Cruz sound like that?????

I Miss My Santa Cruz

I absolutely loved my Santa Cruz! I had it for about 3 months then I was unfortunately involved in an accident involving a Tesla and a Tanker Truck hauling gasoline. My Santa Cruz was totaled but it took care of me I walked away unharmed and I truly believe it was all due to the amazing engineering and design of the Santa Cruz. I have plans to get another Santa Cruz but I have to finish paying off the financing cost on the previous Santa Cruz first. I am terribly sad about not having my Santa Cruz anymore it was literally perfect for my situation. I live in Cloudcroft New Mexico which is a mountain community so the all wheel drive capability of the Santa Cruz allowed me to navigate the terrain no matter the weather conditions. I also commute down the mountain to Alamogordo about 50 miles or so one way so the gas mileage I was getting in the Santa Cruz was phenomenal. I am very happy that things were not worse with the wreck but I do miss my Santa Cruz something awful.

Something thing wrong

There is a buzzing like vibration sound coming from the dashboard dealer can't find problem so the tell you Boguś crap that it's normal when it's not, because they don't want to deal with problem.

Hyundai Santa Cruz XLT 2024-2025

Overall I love the vehicle, I had an initial issue where a rock came through the grill and hit the radiator, I put a screen mesh over the grill, which I would recommend to anyone getting this vehicle because the grill practically offers no protection. One other issue I have run into is the push in gas cap cover has been getting stuck every once in a while. Other than that, it has ridden great, and no mechanical issues.

So far so good

Very easy driving versatile vehicle. Thinking about Maverick at first, very glad I went with the Santa Cruz instead. Only issue is getting factory tow wiring. The cost of the tow bar and wiring is ridiculous.
