My 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz has been one of the smartest and most useful vehicles I’ve owned. It hits that perfect balance between SUV comfort and truck utility, and it fits my everyday life without wasting space, fuel, or money. Final Verdict The 2024 Santa Cruz is a fantastic everyday truck. It’s comfortable, capable, and versatile without being oversized or overpriced. My 2001 dodge ram was replaced with this newness owned 2024 on. March2025. So far have carried everything in it that I have carried in my Ram. sadly I have no new Hyundai Santa cruze to look forward to after 2026.

I luv my Santa Cruz, the only thing I believe that would be better is the transmission. The transmission is a little complicated for a sport utility vehicle. It belongs in a sports car.

Fun to drive with a versatility of a pickup truck

I liked this vehicle from the day i saw it at a car show and still like it as an owner. For 2 people this is a great vehicle with lots of versatility. From hauling groceries to transporting a washer and dryer and tools that are protected by the locking rolling cover. Much more versatile than a suv. only 2 things could have made this better. The rear seat is basically useless for passengers. With 1 to 2” of leg room it really doesn’t work unless it’s an emergency. I don’t like having to drive with my chest up against the steering wheel when i have a passenger behind me.It really doesn’t work. They should have had a hybryd option - since they based it on the Tuscon that has a hybrid -I thought it would been a logical choice to have that option with the Santa Cruz.

Love My truck!

My Santa Cruz fits my life in many ways. I had two Jeep Wranglers which I liked but did not give me the comfort or the warranty that I have been used to since I have owned 3 other Hyundai models—all of which I owned way past 100,000 miles. I love the comfort I get in my Santa Cruz. It has such a smooth ride and offers plenty of room and amenities. The bed is the perfect size for me— I do not have ask to borrow a truck to get yard supplies or move larger objects ect. It looks great and does well on gas. I love my Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz 12+ month overview

Overall, my wife and I are very satisfied with our Santa Cruz. This was my first purchase outside the GM family of cars in quite a while. Price was very reasonable, warranty outstanding, and what really captured my attention was the fact that it was assembled in America with a lot of North American parts. The 2-year maintenance package was not exactly what I expected (can only change the oil every 5,000 miles... no exceptions). There are a handful of stone chips on my front grill. Other than that, it has lived up to our expectations and exceeded them in some instances.
