Awesome vehicle

We love the Santa Cruz, the leather seats, the extended screen, the way it rides and the added feature of having the 4 1/2 foot bed in the back of the car has been amazing. I am 77 years old and the height is perfect to get in and out of. Most pick up trucks is too high and as we get older, it’s harder to take Lyft to get into a vehicle so this makes it easy. Please keep making them because I will buy them again.

Love my Canyon Red (orange) XRT

Complaints: I hate the touch screen for heat/AC/Seats. Get anywhere near it and the seat warmer is on full blast. Hard to see oiut the back. Missing a lot of features of the Limited, but it doesn't come in Canyon Red. Rear seat cup holders are too small for most mugs/water bottles.

Awesome Truckette

I really love the 25-30 mpg with enough torque to pull my big bass boat with ease and the AWD gives me confidence to ascend steep, unpaved boat launches with ease. The adaptive cruise control paired with center lane technology is great for long trips. So glad this trick comes with a spare tire. While the bed is short, it is large enough to meet my daily needs better than an SUV.

Hope to get somebody's attention!

It's disappointing that GPS is not included standard and that the back up camera has no audible warning. Both of these should be added in a computer update from Hyundai

The only thing I don’t like about my Santa Cruz is the message that pops up and says you need to consider taking a break. It cannot be disabled and it is very annoying.

Love my Baby Truck

I love my Baby Truck. It fits well in my garage even with my bike rack installed. I tend to carry my cargo like my sewing machine and supplies and luggage in the cab area. I noticed the tonneau cover doesn’t keep out the elements including pollen, so to protect those things when traveling, they ride in the cab. I love the electronic features, especially the surround backup camera. It feels like drone camera is directly above the truck so I can see every angle seamlessly. The automatic door locks only lock when driving off. I really miss that the doors don’t automatically lock when I’m leaving the vehicle and carrying the key. Also it seems like the key fob should have an internal place for the physical key. Now my Baby Truck is my little sports car in the practical sense. Back seating appears to be good for small children. Love the front seat adjustments. At 5’4” I’m able to raise the seat so that I can see over the hood and doors making turns easier to see. It took a few weeks for me to figure that out. Although there is a camera that activates for your blinker in turns, I find it better to look through the windows. I can see where the blinker camera would be helpful when bicycles approach from the right side.

It's a great ride. I do however wish that for the price it would have had the highway driving assist and adaptive cruise control like my 2024 Kona had.

Overpriced vehicle with less then impressive features

I bought this vehicle new. The vehicle and bed is very small. The features are mediocre at best. The price I paid (42k) I thought was kind of high. After riding it for a few months I feel I was ripped off for what I got in return. Never getting a Hyundai again!

Definitely worth a look

It’s a great vehicle. I was a little hesitant about going from a full sized pickup to the Santa Cruz but it hasn’t been an issue at all. Fit and finish are good, the only thing is the finish wears off the start button, I’m on my second one.

Love the look and comfort, but for the love of all things holy and sacred: let's us "save" the drive mode and turn off adaptive cruise control and front attack warning. Also, let us bypass the login.
