I Enjoy Leasing This Truck, But I Don't Want To Own It.

This Santa Cruz is fun to drive and quite functional but it's engine is way too small for this size vehicle. This truck's four cylinder engine isn't going to last when it's continually pushed by going up a moderate hill or hauling basic loads. Really, a V6 is what this truck needs or even better a hybrid drive train. I give the engine about 8 years to live before a major mechanical failure. Which is why I would not own it, just lease it.

Amazing little truck!!!

Great truck lots of room. More than it looks. Very comfortable and the shocks are incredible. Don’t feel bumps like in any other vehicle.

99% perfect vehicle

Everything about this truck is perfect ESPECIALLY for the price. Only negative is silver colored front grille (truck has black plastic everywhere else- black front grille makes more sense).

Love my new truck

I was looking for an SUV or a small truck. This Santa Cruz met both. We have used the 4 foot bed to transport snow tires, trees, rocks and mulch.

Santa Cruz Review 2025

The compact truck fits my needs perfectly. I play golf often & keep my clubs & equipment secured in the truck bed. This eliminated the interior odors I had with my Jeep Wrangler. The features on the top trim level are great & the fuel economy is good.
