Great suv

This has been a great vehicle! Comfy, responsive and and to go much farther in a tank of gas. It is very roomy and the sound system is good. Has alot of creature comforts! Able to drive to and from work and don’t have to worry about braking and starting again it does it for me.

This vehicle is my 5th Hyundai and I traded in my Audi Q5 for it because it couldn’t compare to my Santa Fe and this car is great

Great car good looks and it’s my 5 th Hyundai and I replaced a 2021 Audi Q5 for my new 2022 Santa Fe plug in Andi love it more. The seats are far more comfortable and the car is roomier on the inside and the trunk is wider and just better in every way

Great vehicle

Great vehicle would highly recommend. After having driven the care for over a month I have very few concerns. I do get somewhat annoyed when the engine starts in the EV mode for no apparent reason and would find it helpful if there were more information and operator control of this in order to optimize the performance of this fine vehicle.

This car is a pleasure to drive

This is our first SUV and the car is a pleasure to drive. I've rarely experienced such seat comfort in any car. Our previous car was a hybrid but we really are enjoying the move up to the Plug In Electric Vehicle (PHEV). We use a lot less gasoline driving around town then we used to. When in town we're almost always in EV mode. However, the present 30 mile EV range is noticeably low when on longer highway drives.

Good vehicle overall, I was impress with the performance on the highway and fuel ecomony.

Takes too long to heat up the car when the temp is set at 78 degree. The wireless charging is not working. Storage and leg room have decrease. Memory seats should be standard and passenger seats should be adjustable like the height, recliner...

2022 Santa Fe Limited

Overall this a a great vehicle but there are a few things that could be better. The vehicle handles well and has a mechanical all wheel drive system with a traditional 6 speed automatic transmission. The turbo charged 1.6L engine has a lot of power and torque, it is pretty innovative too which is nice to see a manufacture still invest in ICE improvements. Unfortunately, the Santa Fe PHEV falls short as an electric vehicle with reliance on gas motor for climate control, underpowered electric motor and mediocre EV only range.

Santa Fe PHEV

Luxurious. Best in class with space. Small learning curve with technology in the car. However there are some areas that can be improved: Battery size, minimize road noise, availability of trims and color in dealerships, delivery date communication (internal; dealer and truck company) and control of price as this was purchased $7500 above msrp.

Santa Fe Plug In 2022

Started search for 5 passenger plug in SUV w decent storage/cargo space by looking at Audi, BMW, Lexus, Volvo and Toyota on line. Eventually test drove Audi, Volvo,Hyundai and Toyota (RAV4 Prime). Had not initially considered Hyundai but dealership was right there nesr Audi and Volvo so decided to check out the Santa Fe. Glad we did. This car is at least 20k less than comparable equipped premium badges. I wasn't sure the quality would match and only time tell but initial impressions regarding fit and finish are very favorable. Ride comfort around town and on highway are comparable to Audi or Volvo and much better IMHO than RAV4. Seats in Limited trim are in fact very similar to my Audi A6. Road noise also seems very comparable to premium badges.

Smooth drive and looks great

We went out in search of a hybrid vehicle. Initially, we thought of a Kia, but when the dealership we had an appointment with sold the vehicle we had a test drive appointment with, we started calling random dealerships to see what hybrid options they had available. We found this dealership fairly locally and my wife fell in love with this car.

Overall excellent design, ride, comfort, mileage, and options. EV mode lets you drive without using gas most of the time. Very quiet ride. Interior seems bigger than the car appears on the outside. Nice design of control panels and options.

Great plug-in hybrid - way more fun to drive than expected!

The Santa Fe PHEV is stylish, fun to drive, and gets great gas mileage. We tend to drive it mostly short trips and with the 415 or so miles we have on it so far, we're at a combined average of over 75 mpg (was all the way up to 81.1 at one point). The transmission is smooth, it's quiet (not a lot of road noise) and comfortable. We're really enjoying our new vehicle.

Impressive, but still room for improvement.

Driving this vehicle is nothing less than impressive in terms of how far hybrid technology has come. The mechanical performance is nothing less than awesome in how it combines full electric and traditional gas performance to the point it is indistinguishable to the driver. It provides the acceleration and quietness of an all electric vehicle with the range and mobility of both electric and gas propulsion. There are no limits to where this vehicle can travel.

Nice car but has issue

Hyundai customer service failed to provide an answer with fuel pump leakage issue with my car. Spent more than an hour with case manager and she was not helpful at all. No follow what do ever. Very disappointed.

2022 Hyundai PHEV Limited

I'm amazed at the level of quality from Hyundai in the Santa Fe I've recently purchased. The fit and finish are near perfect and the features of the vehicle are impressive in the price range. Overall the driving performance is really good and I've driven through 12" of snow fall and -35F temperatures so far without any issues. The vehicle does need the gas engine to run in order to generate cabin heat so this definitely holds back gas savings on cold days. Seat comfort is great with so many adjustments, it would be hard to not find the perfect position. Interior room is huge for a mid sized SUV but what is surprising is that it doesn't appear huge for the exterior; perfect size really. Love the panoramic sun roof, it makes the large interior space seem that much larger. Great car overall.

Before I had the vehicle a month, a rock lit the windshield and a crack 10” up windshield before I could get chip fixed. The is my 3rd Hyundai Sante Fe. My last one I replaced windshield 3x. FYI: design flaw?

Love fuel economy. Wish it had larger tank so range on long trips was larger. Fix Bluelink app and my satisfaction will be higher some shoddy eorksndip issues discover after purchase. Such as loose wire and loose air duct.

Great Vehicle for the money

The vehicle is great. But I think some key features which I was expecting from PHEV Limited trim were missing. Some of them I have mentioned in the previous questions. I wish my PHEV Limited trim had option for 3 row seats(more like 7 seater), outside temperature monitoring, EV miles to use at our choice, better Road Noise reduction at Higher(HWY) speeds, Basic Heads up Display. Apart from that I love the lane assist, parking assist and other good features. Thank you.
