LOVE this car!

This is my 3rd Santa Fe. I LOVED my 2007 Santa Fe and would have driven it until it stopped driving, but at 115,000 miles it started having electrical problems. I traded into a 2018 Santa Fe and really missed my V6 but still enjoyed it. This 2022 is a wonderful combination of both of those vehicles and more. There are a few things that need adjusting - the feature that saves the engine from running all the time when you are stopped is no longer working (I need to take it in for repair) and the back tail gate sometimes doesn't recognize that I am standing there with the key in my pocket so it won't beep and open automatically.

Runs like new, even after 50,000 miles

Love our hybrid Santa Fe! The gas savings surprisingly more than expected. Long distance traveling is comfortable and very low noise. Spacious cargo area is a plus, especially with backseats folded down.

My Santa Fe feels cheap.

I just don't feel like the Santa Fe was made with quality. I hot a huge crack in my windshield had to have it replaced. Not only was the glass costly, but needed to have it Calibrated. Cost if Calibration is equal to the price of the windshield. I had the wi shield replaced, but now the "Rearview Mirror Housing" Keeps falling off. They put double sided tape on the clips to try and adhere it to the housing. But, when temperatures rise the housing falls apart!

Good styling

I really like the styling of the 2022 Santa Fe much more than the boxy new one. The main thing that I don’t like about it and many other models is the rear blinkers. The blinkers are poorly placed. There is so much space where the brake lights are. The wiring is already there so why put the barely noticeable blinkers so far down on the bumper area. Also the console is terrible. I prefer the console in my 2016 Santa Fe. In the new model I can’t see anything in the cave. That makes it a junk catcher instead of useful.

Bought a "Sport" level model - wish it had a few more amenities on the interior, like sunglasses holder, etc. Am not sure I like the push-button gear selector. Also, the climate control is a little confusing. Overall, this is a high quality vehicle for its price and features.

From the minute I sat in the seat I loved it.

The 2022 Santa Fe was my 3rd one. It is a good product. The best part about it was since I am only 5' tall and the seat adapted for me without difficulty making the drive and ability to see 360 comfortable. Comfortable seating all around. Lots of room for travelling when rear seats were easily lowered. Great stereo and sound. Easy to program maps for travelling. Acceptable gas mileage. The only reason I traded it was to move to the Santa Fe Hybrid due to wanting better gas mileage to take cross country trips in my retirement. Thanks.

This vehicle by far is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. With regular and proper maintenance this vehicle will sustain for years to come. With good altering tires, this vehicle will go through any kind of touring there is especially with the all-wheel-drive.

Buy something else. The ownership experience has not been great to say the least. They even broke the oil pan gasket and didn't want to write it down on the notes. Excessive wind and road noise that doesn't want to be fixed because the necessary tests are not completed

Overheats and drains out battery frequently

The car overheats, fan under the hook keeps running even after turning off the engine, draining the battery often. Very noisy while driving on highway (wind noise and road noise) GPS hangs up often and voice prompt does not work. Shakes and makes sound while shifting gear, remote phone app takes for ever to respond and often even fails to respond.

Love my car.

I drove my car on vacation with my husband and another couple. We were all very comfortable and had plenty of room for traveling, even with suitcases and guitar cases for two couples. Good ride and comfort.

Best SUV for the money

You can spend thousands more but will not find a better value. There is not an American car that can match the value. I have owned dozens of new and used vehicles from a dozen different manufacturers. I can honestly say none have provided the dependability, performance and great value that Hyundai provides. We could not be more pleased with our Santa Fe. I will add tha our 2022 SantaFe is going to be difficult to replace especially because of the unattractive design of the new SantaFe since 2024.

Love this SUV with a couple exceptions.

A joy on the road, great around town, hate the push button transmission controls, door pocket drink holders are just too small Too much plastic trim everywhere on exterior that’s very vulnerable to road hazards.

Feel safe and secure driving this very solid and well made SUV. Interior is crafted like a much more expensive vehicle, plenty of room for passengers and stuff. Have done several 8+ hours drives and very comfortable. Will get another one when my lease expires.
