Love this Vehicle!

Santa Fe Calligraphy - rides better and just as quiet as a Cadillac, has all the bells, whistles and safety features you could want at a much more reasonable price. I bought the model that still has the sleeker back end - I am not a fan of the squared off back. i have an Apple phone and if I use the navigation system on my phone without connecting to Apple Play, there is a lag that means I miss the very first part of the navigation directions. Once connected to Apple Plan, this annoying issue goes away.

Nice, but could be better

At least it looks better than the 2024+ year models. Good list of driving aids, good build quality and nice interior finishes. Too much road noise, buzzy engine noise, and auto braking can be scary.

The car is nice but it picks up speed slow. Next time I will be sure

Overall the car is decent but like already stated it’s slow on the take off especially trying to switch lanes on the highway you gotta dang near stomp the gas. Windshield wipers you can’t lift them in the winter so there always stuck to the window. The seat tilt and heated steering wheel.

Satisfied Customer

Satisfied, a minor issue with brakes. Owned Santa Fe previous to this vehicle. am disappointed that the Santa Fe model will not be the same. Absolutely do NOT like the new design of the Santa Fe.

Problems with the Radio

Vehicle drives well. However, I do not trust the electronics. Twice the navigation panel/radio have shut off while the car was in motion, causing the care to shut off in the middle of the road. When I have brought the vehicle to the service department, they have found nothing wrong with the vehicle. Since my dashboard is completely electronic, I do not trust my vehicle from shorting out preventing me from controlling my speed nor allowing me to be aware of there is another issue through the lack of warning lights. I also cannot make phone calls through the Bluetooth/car play system as the calls are constantly plagued by skipping and cutting out making the calls incoherent. I believe the radio is at fault but no one will actually test it.

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Old Style

Just to start off, we have had 8 Santa Fe’s since 2003. The 2023 one that I have now, which my lease ends 2/2027 is my latest one. We could have Leased Hyundai’s newest redesigned model 3 years ago but we didn’t care for their body style change among other things. Actually we still don’t. So at that time we decided to lease a new left over 2023 model year which we have like very much. Very disappointed in the change made to the Santa Fe when they already had the Palisade.

So far so good

This was a new ‘23 Santa Fe Calligraphy purchased in 2/24. Currently has about 22,500 miles. I’m old school and have had the oil changed much more often than the factory schedule. Had some difficulty getting the 3 complimentary changes done when I wanted them but a call to corporate customer service fixed that. My last free oil change was at Hyundai of Merrillville on 5/26/2026. That dealership has changed owners and now the oil changes are done by a contractor “QuickTime” as that appears on the repair order form. The oil change was done but I have good reason to believe the ordered tire rotation was not. One of the tires (LF) has I a unique mark on it. That tire was still on left front when I got home. I called the Service Dept and left a message for the Service Writer but never got a phone call back. I took the car to a local Belle Tire and had the tires rotated. Needless to say, I’m not likely to go back to Hyundai of Merrillville for service again.
