Love the vehicle and the technology. I think Hyundai short changed the owners of the limited edition with a scaled down tech package, however.

Obtrusive Safety Systems

Factory goodyear tires worn out at 10k miles. Lane keep assist is dangerous and useless, collision avoidance is ridiculously over sensitive, the attention detection camera that shuts off the cruise control should have an opt out. Constantly suggests a rest. Mechanically its fine but the "technological amenities " ruin the experience. Each drive is an exercise in frustration.

2024 Santa Fe User Observations

Overly clever engineers confuse customers Comfort and climate controls should not require the driver to completely look away from the road to manipulate. The tires selected for road noise reduction reduce traction and emergency response safety. Increase dampening materials instead. Despite deficiencies, overall enjoyable ride.

Issues issues issues - Hyundai doesn’t take responsibility

I have had more issues with this vehicle than one can imagine. Recall after recall after recall. Issues with a simple oil change. A damage issue that clearly happened while the vehicle was being delivered, that with proof and multiple independent mechanics confirmed. Neither the dealership or corporate would take responsibility for the damage. False reports of issues with the vehicle that needed to be fixed, that would come out of my pocket (I have a lease, nothing is supposed to come out of pocket). The problem was solved when my independent mechanic tightened a few bolts. That was the fixed, the dealerships wanted to charge me $1300 at one and $6000 at the other. COMPLETE FRAUD

Great car

Had the car for almost 2 years. Never had an issue loved the car. Decided after 5 Santa Fe’s over the last 29 years decide to move to the next level. 2026 Palisade Calligraphy and can not say enough positive things about this car.

The vehicle itself runs amazing. My windshield cracked right where the glass and the seam to the rear view mirror meet. It was only 2 weeks old when it cracked overnight. My blue link stopped working about five months into owning my car and won’t pair with the vehicle at all

I really enjoy the car, however the back end is UGLY. Those taillights are… questionable. The rest of the design and functionality is lovely. Gas mileage is surprisingly good.

I purchased a brand-new 2024 Santa Fe. Within 6 months, the transmission had to be replaced; there were multiple recalls. I continue to experience persistent unresolved issues with the infotainment center. I have been given four loaner vehicles from Hyundai in less than 18 months.
