Great SUV

Having owned two prior Santa Fe’s I can tell you this one is far and away the best. Love the style, third row, power, comfort, safety, driver assist and features. Only things I am not trilled about are the tires (typical of new cars with cheaper tires with high road noise) and the tech. Great features but some of the controls are not intuitive.

Air Conditioning sucks and brake rotors are defective

The air conditioning takes a long time to cool down and the vents are shaped in a way that makes them annoying to use. They don't blow straight out of the vents, they disperse so the air is always blowing directly on you. I have 32,000 miles and my front rotors and pads needed to be replaced. Of course, Hyndai did not cover this under warranty becuase they told me that my front rotors developed "heat spots." I'm 60 years old and don't drive like a teenager. In all my years of driving, I've never had a car that needed front rotors and pads replaced after just 32,000 miles. The tech at the dealership said the warranty specifically states that "heat spots" aren't covered under warranty. Because this is specificaly mentioned in the warranty, it tells me that Hyundai puts low quality rotors susceptible to "heat spots" on their vehicles and then protects themselves by writing the warranty so they don't have to cover the cost of repair/replacement. They push this cost onto the customers. It's a scam. This is unfortunate as this is the third (and last) Hyundai we will ever buy.

Best boxy car on the road

This Santa Fe is very versatile. It can haul people and haul things. Very smooth and comfortable ride especially during my trip to Orlando Florida which is 10.5 hours long. I was hesitant about this car at first but after the first initial test drive and after owning it for a year now, I am glad I bought it and enjoy every drive.

2025 Hyundai Sante Fe Caligraphy

Vehicle has been great for the most part. Side collision cameras weren't working. Brought it in to dealer, needed new wire harness. Part was back ordered. waited 5 weeks to get it. Waited another week to have it installed.

Slightly above average

When I first purchased this vehicle I loved how spacious it was, the color and all the bells and whistles. But now that I have owned her a year, there are a few things I wish I could change. The leather interior has worn way more than I like. The visor light, you manually have to turn on instead of just opening the mirror and the ligh comes on. The steering wheel tilt / adjustment should be automatic / programmed adjusted with the seat memory buttons. They are not, so when my 6ft husband gets in the vehicle to drive he hits the #2 driver memory button but he still has to manually adjust the steering wheel before he is able to get in the vehicle. The "sanitizing" cubby size is useless. They should have either made the cubby bigger x2 the size it is now or made the glove compartment XL and negate that feature all together. There is no permanent way to turn off the Ide start-stop. If you dont want to have it on then each time you start the vehicle you must press a button for it to disengage. I wish there was a permanent bypass for that. The 3rd row seating is NOT adult friendly. Lastly, I love the color but not until I was singing all the paperwork to purchase her did the dealership inform me to the fact that I will always have to use a special soap on her and I am not to take her through car washes. After owning her for a year now. I feel that for a 50k+ vehicle the manufacturer should have upgraded a few little things. All in all, I do like my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy addition with all the optional bells and whistles available except AWD ( I wanted that feature as well but, they did not have the color I wanted with that opion.) In hindsight, I might should have spent a few thousand dollars more to get more luxury features with another vehicle and or brand.

Quirky car with personality

There are some quirks to driving this car and I don’t have them all figured out just yet. There have been several building recalls for parts possibly being installed incorrectly. That is concerning and unsettling when driving with my family down the highway. Otherwise we have enjoyed traveling in the vehicle and Hyundai customer service has been top notch!

Great Family,Dog,and cargo, in a small package

I love everything about my Santa Fe, very comfortable to drive, nice and quiet, pretty good gas mileage for an suv with 3 rows, enough room for everything from dogs, kids, cargo. But small enough to be easy to drive, all the power i need !!
