I love it but can’t give it 5 stars due to the coffee message.

Please make the sound go away when you weave over the line too much. I have a 2023 Santa Fe too. Thankfully you can disable it on that year.

I give it a 4. It's not a regular transmission. When it's in gear if your on a hill it rolls back. If your facing down a hill it rolls forward. Everything else is rated a 5.

My Ride

Much to like about it. Very comfortable. Rides great. Quiet. Plenty of power. Concerns are an intermittent squeak somewhere in the cabin - hard to tell where. It may be tolerable to most people, but for me, it's a big deal. I do not like the delay in start up speed due to the turbo. I get a honk from the person behind me occasionally because of that pause.

Wooo Big Fan!

Oh man this thing just eats up the miles. Fuel econ is..well it's an SUV. As much as it makes rush hour traffic a pain in the butt; I'm a big fan of the DTC over the full Automatic in the 2026 models. I had a loaner vehicle for an issue with the Santa Fe, that had the new automatic..not a fan. It's really clunky. Once the DTC is warmed up it's buttery smooth. The appearance took some getting used to, but the front now has a touch of 'aggressiveness' and the back is ok, it's 100% utilitarian. The numbers below are scored as an empirical value.

Waiting for the good part

Immediately after purchasing new, it began leaking oil in the garage. Apparently an oil pan gasket had been installed improperly at the factory. This took three trips to the dealer to finally get it >95% fixed. Now I am informed that there are three open recalls on the vehicle for unrelated issues, and so I need to schedule another all day service appointment. The car has less than 7,000 miles. This was my first experience with Hyundai.

Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy Review

Everything about the vehicle is great except one feature. I like to have my driver side tilted back a little. The vehicle thinks that I'm not looking straight ahead and shuts off my cruise control and other safety features. This is an update that is needed ASAP.
