Bluelink has not worked for a year

I have had 3 recalls in the year of owning this brand new vehicle. In addition to that Bluelink only worked for the first few months and has not worked since. I was told multiple things by Bluelink customer service as well as the dealership. I will never buy this or any other Hyundai again.

comfortable car but does not winter well

handling and comfort level are excellent, gets decent highway mileage. however it is not built to spend the winter outside. The wipers hide under the hood lip and get iced over. The doors allow ice to enter from the bottom front edge and build up to the point where I need to physically chip it out or risk bending the door edges. The door handles feel a little flimsy and I worry that after a few winters of trying to open frozen shut doors that the handles will not hold up well. It also thinks it's smarter than it is. For example, the backup safety stop doesn't register when the wheel is turning and assumes I am backing straight into traffic even while executing a turn into an open lane. The brakes slam on, leaving me stuck with oncoming traffic approaching. I turn this feature off every time now, every time I start the car. Wish I could permanently turn it off, it is actually more dangerous than helpful. I do like the cruise control, spacing feature works well. We have way too much construction and potholes for the lane assist to be helpful though.

Good car, but transmission is terrible

We enjoy our car now that it is fixed. We had a transmission shudder three months after we bought it. After several months of back and forth they replaced the transmission and now it works great. Great car, but the transmission is a problem.

Overall satisfied

I am overall satisfied with my car. There are some things that bother me. The trim of things seems to be deteriorating quickly. My seat is coming out from the back of the passenger seat and the steering wheel is starting to peel a little. If I could change something I would add air vents to the top instead of just to the sides of the back for rear facing kids.

Upgrade Santa Fe Calligraphy

More space and better utilization behind an Open thrift row. Better storage under the back Floor boards (like the old Santa Fe), Better mid seats adjustments besides the button under right front seat corner, better engine torque or increased HP for faster and smoother acceleration. All the door indicator buttons (windows and locks) and the headlight and wiper control sticks should clearly illuminate at night.
