Predominantly positive, but...

We purchased a new 2026 Santa Fe Calligraphy AWD after owning several top-of-the-line Jeep Grand Cherokees. For the majority of the time, we really enjoy owning and driving the Santa Fe, but there are a few nagging things that kept me from rating it 5 stars.

We can’t get our New Hyundai Santa Fe repaired by Hyundai!

We have tried to get repair on our paint flaking off and Nav module replaced and still doesn’t work, on our 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe, Limited. The dealership and Hyundai don’t really care and here we are 2 months later and we are still with a $55,000 vehicle with issues. At this time we will never buy another Hyundai, again. Hyundai needs to get their act together. I know we are not the only people they are treating this way. I asked Hyundai to elevate an to assign a new case manager. We have not heard from them. We should love this vehicle, but we don’t! We were so excited when we bought it and now, we wonder how can we get out of the vehicle without loosing our butts! $55,000 is a lot of money to us!

Almost perfect.

I've had my 2026 Santa Fe XRT for about two months now and I absolutely love it. The one major concern/gripe I have with it, is what almost seems like Turbo Lag. Sometimes hitting the accelerator at lower rpms, you get a noticeable area where if you press it normally, the acceleration seems to be delayed by a second or so. I've had vehicles with turbos in the past and this ones "turbo lag", is much more noticeable. On the other hand, if you press the accelerator just a bit harder, it almost seems to yank you back in the seat a bit. I'd say my only other real complaint is the amount of sensors and warnings, most of which don't have a setting you can turn them off permanently. I love everything else about the car. Great looking, great features and great price.

Drives great and has lots of space, but wireless charges don't really

PROS: Drives great, gets over 30 mpg on the highway, has a great highway passing gear, and has a lot of cargo space. CONS: Climate control LEDs are not visible in daylight, wireless chargers don't really work. They cause the phones to overheat and the phones stop charging to protect themselves. I had to go back to cables. Low speed collision audible alarms are way too sensitive so much so that almost every time I back out of a parking spot or driveway, a loud audible alarm goes off.

Hyundai Has Officially Become My Favorite Brand

I absolutely love my Santa Fe Calligraphy! From the moment I got it, I fell in love with the design, comfort, technology, and luxury feel. It looks and feels like a much more expensive SUV, and I constantly get compliments on it. My family members have been so impressed after riding in and seeing mine that several of them now want to purchase a Santa Fe too! I can genuinely say Hyundai has become my favorite vehicle brand. I would literally buy another Santa Fe without hesitation. It has completely changed my perception of Hyundai and set a new standard for what I want in a vehicle. There are a few things I would love to see in future models, including massaging seats, voice control for opening and closing the sunroof, and more trunk space when the third row is being used. Those additions would make an already amazing vehicle nearly perfect. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and proud to be a Hyundai owner. Five stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
