Incredible Vehicle with One Minor Complaint

Purchased the vehicle just over 2 months ago, and I've got to say that it's truly amazing. Extremely comfortable ride - my wife and I just took it on a road trip from Texas to Durango, Colorado and back. Smooth, comfortable, quiet, plenty of room, and all the bells and whistles. Only complaint is they've outsmarted themselves in the "warning systems" technology. The lane warnings, when simply sitting still at a red light is annoying, as well as the "consider taking a break" - neither of which can be disabled. Was very annoying, unless you use the cruise control with lane assist (which is great on the longer drives), but sucks around town. The automatic shut off at stop lights is extremely annoying, and I disable that as soon as I get in the car. Other than that - 2 thumbs up!

Fantastic vehicle let down by a single recurring annoyance

I’ve only had the car for a few months and it has a lot going for it. Unfortunately, for me, the driver safety monitoring system constantly dinging warnings nullifies the other benefits and is itself a distraction when driving.

Mostly happy but does Korea not use rear facing car seats?

We have used all kind of configurations so far on our vehicle. The BIG thing I wish it had was backseat air flow from the top and not the side so that my kids in rear facing car seats also got cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter

It's great, but .....

We really like the car. but these are some of the things that could be improved. 1.The tilt down, side mirrors should be managed on the infotainment screen not the adjustment switch. 2.The camera feature of the rear-view mirror is distracting at times and does take some getting used to. 3.The heads-up display needs more vertical adjustment capabilities. 4.The lack of ground clearance is a major disappointment. 5.We could have gotten more ground clearance is we had chosen a different model package. However, that package was quite sparce on the creature comforts we wanted.

Santa Fe

I have a base model Santa Fe. If I could go back, I would upgrade a model to give the third-row ac/heating settings. It has been extremely hot this summer and not having that feature for my kids has left me freezing in the front seat and them uncomfortable in the rear. Other than that; in my 34 years of life this has been my favorite vehicle. Hyundai will continue to have my business.

this is my second Santa Fe. I had a 2020 Santa Fe limited I now have a 2026 Santa Fe calligraphy. This is a nice car although I think my 2020 was as good as this one

Not very impressed

The good: very comfortable, looks very nice, 3 rd row seats are adequate, ride is good on straight runs. Power is good at highway speeds. The bad: body rolls terribly when making turns of any kind. When making a quick turn the engine seems to have severe throttle lag/turbo lag/ power loss for 1-3 seconds. And that is in both normal or sport mode. So don’t turn in front of traffic unless you have a lot of room. The controls are terrible as you have to look at them to use them, no operation just by feel. The tail gate only opens with the remote, remote won’t close it. Oil changes are expensive compared to my other 4 cylinder turbo suv. There are only two options for cluster colors, both dials are blue, or speedo is blue and tach is orange.
