2010 Hyundai Sonata

Great car, I cannot believe it. I am Chevy owner, forever. Bought this car, at great deal, an in-betweener vehicle, 15 years later. So far, money well spent on maintenance. 1 major bummer, cheap door handles! Replaced once, twice, working on thrice! Is there a recall for this?!?

Dependable

I bought this car used with about 119,000 miles. It has 192000 miles on it now. Only thing I had to do is replace all the door handles (very very cheap plastic). And this week repair a coolant leak. Cost me $588+. That’s all the repairs I have had to make. I think that’s a pretty good record for a 2010 used car.

Car runs good, but have had to replace seven door handles so far. For a second car that sits outside it’s okay, but probably wouldn’t buy another one.

This has been a reliable car. Have had to replace the fuel pump. The fact that the door handles break easily indicates to me that they are cheaply made. Have had several cars through the years and that has never happened.

Love my Hyundai

I grew up an Oldsmobile family and my first car was an Oldsmobile. When I got divorced and was getting ready to purchase a new vehicle, Oldsmobile's were discontinued. After looking around I settled on the Hyundai Sonata. It has been a great car! While keeping up with the routine maintenance every 6 months, I have not had any major repairs - other then getting new tires. It has always been reliable.

Love it!!!

I love my car. I have over 220,000 miles and my car has given me very little problems. The interior is the perfect size. Plenty of space for four passengers, even better for three passengers. I really love the nice roomy trunk. I hope my car lasts another 220,000 miles.

A great trouble-free car.

The car was five years old when I bought it via Craigslist at what I think was a great price. It simply runs and runs and the routine maintenance is not that expensive. It has just over 150,000 on the clock. Hopefully it will run for more years and miles to come. It's always tempting to consider upgrading but why replace what is working great!

Comfortable and economical transportation

Purchased this car used and it has been quite a pleasant surprise. The vehicle is roomy, comfortable and economical getting more mpg than the current new model. I take care of it but still looks and runs great as a 12 year old vehicle with over 115k miles.

Good and reliable vehicle

I purchased my 2010 Sonata as a used vehicle several years ago. I have had minimal problems along the way. A comfortable car, roomy for a midsize and very economical with the four cylinder, almost 40 mpg on the highway. As the car is now over 12 years old, some things are beginning to fail such as the TPMS and the Bluetooth for phone. At this point, also requires some front end suspension repair. Thankfully, no problems with motor or transmission.

Very Happy Hyundai Owner

I have owned this particular vehicle for 12 years now. I Previously owned another Sonata 2004 which I passed on to my daughter to take to college. Neither car owes me a thing. The Sonata 2010 has great gas mileage as it made many trips back and forth to/from PA , VA and South Carolina. It has a very comfortable ride and is a attractive looking vehicle both interior and exterior. The air conditioning didn’t need replacing until year #10 and the cost to replace was expensive and not really worth the high cost considering the age of the car. The Hyundai is definitely my first choice when purchasing a new car.

Extremely glad we purchased

Very happy we purchased this Sonata. Reliable, no breakdowns, routine expenses can be handled by various repair shops in addition to the long time dealership we purchased it from. Body has been holding up, no rust in upper Midwest. Gas mileage stays low and uses regular. Nowadays use for all of our driving for three adults to save money on insurance plus the car trunk has so much room without taking advantage of flip down split back seat ?. The front passenger seat has a perfect lumbar support for handicapped rider. So many cars ? have passed through our hands and after about combined driving years for us both of approximately 114 years, longest we have had such a comfortable and reliable car.

I love my Sonata.

Hyundai Sonata 2010, my first new car. I brought it 2009. My first problem is now 2021. Which seems to be a minor problem. If I get a new car, it will be a Hyundai Sonata. To North Carolina twice ok.

I love my Sonata.,

I have friends who now have a Hyundai since I been driving my SONATA. I got my 2010 Sonata 2009 new. I drove to North Carolina twice had no problem. I keep my gas tank full at all time. I have it check before winter.

Brought the car new, great car & services me well. haven't had any major problems, just keep the car serviced, and it will take care of you.Car still looks like new, paint has held up very well. was thinking about trading it. But no.

Well-pleased overall

Cabin noise and Gas mileage are disappointing. Recurring problem with momentary power steering loss due to wetness (driving through large puddles, for example) that service people could not find. Otherwise, very good.

Holds up well!

I love my car! It’s a base model. Never had any real problems other than the usual wear and tear! A real steady and reliable vehicle! Only down fall is I wish it was a SUV, I would have loved to sit higher!

This is my first vehicle that I have ever financed and it has been worth it. I am loving it so much I wish it was faster sometimes but I love it so much it’s teaching me patience. I have been being more aware on the roads in this vehicle

Plastic parts are crap but power train is great.

The engine, transmission, brakes, and steering are great and hold up to my 184,000+ miles on my 2010 Sonata. Dashboard is cracked, shifter knob is crack, both side view mirrors crack and fell off. 3 of 4 door handle have cracked and fell off. The driver seat material has a hole worn in the the back. The radio lcd has dark spots. Vehicle does not hole up over time.

Excellent Vehicle

Excellent Vehicle for Over 10 Years. I have over 71K. Miles car is in Excellent condition and Drives and Looks like new. Brakes are also in Great shape. Just had the Fuel Injections cleaned, because I was getting 33.8 miles per gallon.
