Nice features, annoying transmission.

I like the adaptive cruise, lane management and safety features. Blue Link is great and the car is roomy. Dislike the transmission, it is not responsive with acceleration and has some odd shifting patterns.

excellent car

Sonata is excellent. Very roomy, especially great leg room in back seat. Trunk is huge. Ride is smooth and quiet. Engine is powerful and fuel efficiency is good (35 mpg on highway). This is my third Sonata.

Pretty Decent!

Love mostly everything. Main issues are mostly cosmetic concerns. I feel like the paint scratches really easily, the front windshield cracked twice in under a year, while my previous car never cracked in over 6 years of use. Got the white interior and yeah, that was a mistake, but it cleans semi-easily. So far, everything else has been great. The screens have glitched on me a few times, but nothing major/concerning.

2024 Sonata

The 2024 Sonata is a good car. There are a few things that I am not happy with. The response of the gas peddle is very slow at times, especially in a hurry up situation. The whole electrical system shuts down for a few seconds, it happened 2 times at night, not fun. When I get a software update, something always doesn't work properly. The last time the start engine with the blue link will start the engine, but nothing else turns on, the windshield defroster, rear window defroster, nor the heated seats. Why, it worked find when I got it?

I appreciate the idiot-proofing such as the collision and blind spot warnings. The back-up warnings are not perfect but they help.

Disappointed

Although the cars exterior looks very nice the engine is terrible. Transmission lags and the car is dangerously slow when trying to merge onto a highway.

Great looking car with plenty of issues at a high price.

If you like oil leaks, and transmission Issues before 10,000 miles this car is for you. Not sure how the next 10,000 will treat me, but I can only hope it gets better...

It’s a very fun car to drive. Just wish some button placement was different, and that it had more grip in first, second and third gear. Other than that the car has been great.

Hyundai DOES NOT HOLD ITS VALUE

Purchased vehicle new... tried to trade it in for an SUV at 7k miles, they offered me 12 grand less for it than what I paid for it! The vehicles simply do not hold there value. Throwaway cars!
