I'm a second owner of Sonata.

My older one (2012) ran better than the new one (2025)! The new one has an engine problem. Lags when given gas - very frustrating. I hate it. Something must be wrong. And, I was told about the different driving modes but this doesn't matter. Root problem still exists. And, apparently the sport mode eats more gas.

Works well but...

It rides ok. Sometimes there is a slight hiccup when accelerating. Also, the wheel sometimes pulls just a bit to the right (a little bit of tension).

Disappointed with a few things

Inadequate storage space in front seat area, massive oversteer during acceleration, sporadic wireless charging, no convenience package to include garage door opener, front seat is uncomfortable, passenger seat has no electric controls.

I preferred my 2016 Sonata to this 2025.

The 2025 Sonata has many features that my 2016 did not have. None of these new features is necessary and they only serve to increase the cost of the vehicle.

Top of the line technology with a cool modern look.

This car is very cool and modern looking. It's eye catching and appealing.the led bar in the front is awesome. It looks very sporty . The aerodynamics are nice. The technology is great . The button less technology is nice and cool . The panoramic screens are modern and fantastic . The engine is powerful with a nice sound . As always the driver assist is cutting edge. The only con of the vehicle is the very low front bumper .

This is my second time buying a Sonata. I was impressed with the warranty from Hyundai both times I purchased new cars. I like the style, how it drives and the overall look of the Sonata. I owned a 2013 and now a 2025. I recommend purchasing a Sonata, you won’t regret it.
