25 Tucson Hybrid

This is my second Tucson hybrid. Had a '22 but with some of the new features in the '25 decided to trade up. Like the tech and interior layout. Seats are very comfortable. Plenty of room for passengers and cargo. I don't think this '25 shifts as smoothly as the '22 I had, seems to get stuck in a gear sometime when accelerating hard.

A very nice vehicle

Better control of road noise in the cabin would be a plus. And a more intuitive design of the screen system for features would be helpful. Also accessing features on the lower touch screen requires taking your eyes off the road - i.e. maybe into columns of related features??

Primary Family vehicle

We have been Hyundai owners for 23 years. Our grown children both drive Hyundais as well. I am very impressed with the power that the Hybrid has, as well as the mileage. I wish there were dual power seats and some of the other bells and whistles available without paying for a package that has features I would never use.

Great car but could be better, such as: Electric folding outside mirrors Option to disable the annoying coffee cup alert which goes off every 5-10 minutes Ability to have audio lane movement alert without the other options. My 2019 Santa Fe has this

Disappointing mileage

Bought a hybrid to get better mileage. It is actually much worse than our previous Honda CRV gas only car. Disappointed.

Great Car with few minor issues

Overall great vehicle from comfort, performance, dependability, standpoint. The one issue that prevents giving it 5-star rating is the "consider taking a break" warning that comes up constantly. This feature cannot be turned off on 2025 models. This warning goes off non-stop and is a huge distraction from driving and turns down the volume of everything else to give the warning. This "safety feature: is actually a safety hazard due to attention it takes from driving to see what alarm is going off. I have complained to dealership and Hyundai about this issue. Could easily be resolved with a software change to allow this feature to be turned off....like previous models. Would NOT buy another car that has this feature unless it could be turned off. That's how annoying and distracting it is.

Cute on the outside, internal issues with the dash

about 6 months into having the brand new vehicle, the heads up display started shorting out. now the entire screen will not come on or have to completely restart. the dash screen with the speedometer sometimes will be completely black while driving. the 2023 model was build much better besides the horn not working and the air going out after a year.

Lemon vehicle

Round Rock service center is beyond horrible. My car has been in the shop twice now for almost the same problem. First time they had the car for over 3 weeks.This time, 3 days and counting.

Good SUV

It has taken me awhile to adjust to my 2025 Tucson after owning my 2010 Santa Fe for 15 years (which I also purchased brand new). I purchased my Tucson in July 2025. Not having a V6 and losing a bit of cargo space....and a spare tire had been a bit of adjusting. But the new Santa Fe's are not appealing to me visually and I want a car I love to look at. The 2025 Tucson is great to drive, gad mileage is amazing in the warner months but once the cold northeast winters take over....it's game-over for the hybrid. The hybridding lessens quit a bit and I have to fill up more often. The wind deflector on the undercarriage makes a god awful rattling noise....sounds like something is going to fall off and I'll be running around like the Flintstones at any moment. I took it to my local dealership and they couldn't find the issue. A quick search online shows that this is a well documented issue within the Tucson owner community. Paint has also chipped off of the top roof rail already. Do better Hyundai!! This is my 4th Hyundai, my parents have owned 4 as well.

Tucson Hybrid Limited rules!

It is absolutely my favorite vehicle of all I've had. It has all the bells & whistles and I love to drive & be in it. The only thing that is extremely annoying is the face detection. I can't even drink (water in straw waterbottle) without it dinging me and shutting of cruise! Getting that removed would make it perfect.

Our 3rd Hyundai Hybrid Vehicle, Excellent Performer

I am 6 feet tall and the center console, and door features are bothersome. The right arm rest is too high to use, and legs hit sharp points making it necessary to sit at angles. I've experienced this in many vehicles, but I'm surprised no one has thought to change it. The interior comfort otherwise is great. Vehicle performance excellent. however, I wish I had bought the higher version. I miss a lot of features I had on the Sante Fe. The Salespeople didn't do me a favor saving money.
