2026 Tuscon Limited Hybrid reveiw

Love the car, but... it let me down badly on a trip. 500 miles from home, car loses power with error message 'battery system failure'. The care had aprox 2500 miles on it since new.

only have 3100 miles on thecar but so far so good.

I like the vehicle. i did think the hybrid battery would work more often while driving. seems like the battery kicks in maybe 5% of the time.

Good with problems

Nice looking and fun to drive. Gas mileage is a bit fabricated. Most recalls I've had with a vehicle and as a first time Hyundai owner its not a good look. Will be interesting to see if Hyundai backs up their warranty, have a funny feeling I'm going to need to use it. The jury is out!

Nice quiet, powerful and comfortable

I had leased a 2024 prior to this and this hybrid runs on electric much more. We have never gotten less than 32mpg. It has power to spare and the quietest car I have had. One thing I don’t like is the center console reconfiguration and the phone charger being deleted.

Love just about every thing about it...

... but there are a few ways it falls short. The biggest one is that I have driven over 2000 miles in all kinds of conditions and am only getting an average of 34 MPG, not the 38/39 it's rated for. While there are dozens of adjustments and settings, there is no way to change the two annoying door lock defaults: that I have to touch the handle to lock it (no walk away) and touch it twice to open all doors.

Love it with two exceptions

Love the car except for the assisted cruise control. Hard to get it to engage and found out from a friend with same car that if not holding hands on 10 & 2 the camera won't let it engage. Stupid. Driving to Tucson when first had car not fun. Hit and miss with cruise control because I didn't know the secret! Sales person should have warned me. The other thing I notice is that I can hear the transmission shifting when going from 15-30 or so... Not sure why - feels strange.

Bought premium pkg 2026 hybrid turbo Tucson. Bern driving Hyundais since 2014! Car did not include electric outdoor side mirrors must do manually a real pain
