2036 Tucson Limited Hybrid = GREAT CAR!

We LOVE EVERYTHING about our 2026 Tucson Limited Hybrid and purchasing it and having it serviced at Young Hyundai in Ogden, UT!!! These people at Young were/ARE OUTSTANDING: Seth our sales person, + Wes, Harrison, Tiffany and every technician involved in servicing and warranty work on our car. Good car with nice features and some quirks

We like that the car is quiet and smooth, and features like adjustable passenger seat, heads up display, surround camera are really nice. Fuel economy is disappointing (although what reviews predicted), some seeming software glitches from time to time, and we hated the touchless tail-gate. Had to turn the feature off, and we miss foot-under-tailgate system most other cars have.

don't love or hate it

The vehicle is a bit complicated with all the bells and whistles. Cameras are incredible!! Acceleration is below par. Air conditioning is slower to be efficient than my 4 cylinder Patriot.Safety features are very good but warnings come too quickly and sometimes too Frequently.

Amazing car

Amazing car thus far! Works great and the features are amazing. Definitely better than the older tucsons ! The only thing I wish it was is a little bigger, had another flat phone charging station and all seats are cooled but overall, thus far I love my car. I think Hyundai did a great job with the vehicle. Would recommend vehicle!

Shortest ownership on record

We purchased the hybrid on March 11 and got rid of it on April 9th due to an infortunate incident while my wife was driving it. Hyundai had not announced an upcoming recall of it (and 400K other vehicles) when we purchased it. This recall was a software problem with the forward vehicle camera which triggered the brakes to engage without any action by the driver or warning either. When this happened to my wife on April 8th she nearly had a siginificant accident and was lucky due to a few alert drivers following her. Because the dealer's service dept. could not tell us (at that time) what caused it we returned the car to the dealer as my wife said she would never drive it again!! We are still trying to recover the two payments we made on the Hybrid, and have sinced purchased a similar model but with a gas engine.

Vehicle purchased in April 2026 and driven 2,500 miles. So far, meets all expectations for performance including camera visibility, handling and listed features. Longest destination so far has been 60 miles. Planning on extended road trip in August.

Nice, but boring

Nice, smooth-driving, 37mpg with my mpg-friendly style of driving, good acceleration. Its styling was among the best of current SUVs, but I'm not a car enthusiast; even so, it's a bit boring to drive.

Love my Tucson!

About 15 years ago I had a Santa Fe, which I kept until it had 100,000 miles. Other than maintenance (oil changes, tires) The only thing it ever needed was new brake shortly before I traded it in for a CRV. My husband wanted the newer safety features. At the time the new Santa Fes looked plastic-y inside. COVID hit, the CRV proved to be an electrical issue nightmare and I hated it. Kept it for five years and traded it in for my wonderful Tucson! It feels to me like the same interior size as the Santa Fe which I had always really liked. We have a great dealer in NH - Irwin Motors - and couldn't be happier! The Tucson Hybrid gets between 38-41 mph and is worry free.

Great value for the money

The Tucson Hybrid has been a great choice. The performance is terrific. The style and space of the vehicle is wonderful. The safety features are excellent. Some of the technology is excessive — which has been involved in the two recalls in the three months that I have owned the Tucson. But, overall, this is a great value for the money.

I So enjoy my Tucson Hybrid

I find the ride extremely comfortable and the safety features are great and abundant. The car is roomy and even the back seat is great to sit in. Mileage is super and I would recommend this car. It is a pleasure to drive!
