When i wash the car water is held in frame of car by windshield wiper. I have to open trunk and blow the water out so it does"t dip down. Need a easy to read and brif instuctions for dash board.

Nice ride, clean display, messy interface, more EV distance needed.

Our Tucson PHEV rides nice and is fun to drive. It gets a reliable 40 mpg on the road. I like the clean low-slung dashboard (as opposed to an iPad-like center info screen). However, more default settings are needed on the controls so less button pushing is required each time setting off: 1) I would like the infotainment screen to default to my radio favorites, 2) I would like to default to "heat off" so that the engine does not start for short trips in coolish weather, 3) I would like to default to "Hybrid" when on road trips so to save my EV backup miles. More EV distance would be useful, say 44 miles instead of 34. The center console could be easier to clean (removable bottom to cup holder). My wife says it could be easier to enter the vehicle without bumping her head. Bright headlights seem just to make road signs glow brighter and not really change the pavement illumination. Hiding the oil fill cap seems disrespectful. Rear turn signals should be placed higher. Using a turbo and direct fuel injection makes me worried about future maintenance.

Styling and Car and Driver rating make this choice easy

The drive and acceleration are great! I’m still learning what this car can do. I have an Ioniq 5 and disappointed that the volume buttons and lift gate buttons are in different positions.

Mileage is lowwwwwwwww and with a brand new vehicle we’ve already had to take it in because we we’re having issues this is the second vehicle we got brand new from Hyundai that has had some issue we had to wait on parts to fix we will not be returning to Hyundai after this vehicle

New 2026 Tucson PEV Fails Less Than A Month After Purchase

2026 Tucson Plug In Hybrid – VIN =KM8JBDD26TU479003 -Purchase 7/04/2026 & Required Service on 7/22/2026. SERVICE - 7/23/2026 For Failed Infotainment Display Failure. As of 9/15 it's not fixed and there is no ETA as to when it will be fixed! The car has no backup camera, no radio, can not pair your cell phone, and can't change any configs. Last week I noticed the Blue Link App stopped interacting with the car. Cluster assembly (Part 94023 P0800). SERVICE – 8/22/2026 Install cluster assembly. Outcome – Still not fixed; another part ordered (Float Audio 96560-N9530-FLT) Part ETA 9/1 – in person inquiry. Part not in, ETA next Tuesday Latest Part ETA 9/8 – phone call inquiry. Failed to answer. - 9/9 Phone call inquiry. Failed to answer. Voice mail left; no call back . CURRENTLY NO ETA ON PART & REPAIR Case Opened with Hyundai Consumer Affairs 7/24 = case# 4315187

Best Car I've ever had

I love this vehicle. There are only a few things that bother me. Most importantly, the switch to go from Sport to Eco is in a bad spot and gets knocked accidentally all the time. I did not get a PHEV to waste gas or energy on Sport mode. This control needs to be relocated.
