Great value, comfort and features
2025 Camry XLS hybrid with AWD and Premium option package. The fit and finish is excellent, nothing looks or feels cheep. Easy to get in and out of, and very comfortable - 6’1” and 220. Surprisingly good torque and handles well. Gas mileage has averaged 36 mpg, mostly city.
Sound insulation needs improvement: road noise high. Infotainment, smart phone app, and safety monitoring apps are confusing, annoyingly complex, and unnecessarily expensive subscription services that never end.
User Documentation around 900 pages - absurd. Toyota has too many confusing, incomplete, overlapping websites, and calling the service department for help will get you nowhere. Employees usually unable to help. E.g. my sales rep thought the batteries in the hybrid were recharged by solar energy, and No One in Sales or Service could tell me how the Navigation System is updated. They suggested I bring it in and leave it.
