She described the car vaguely as "just back from lot someone turn it back in because they want upgrade," and only at signing - after about few hours - did the manager plainly tell us it was a used car. She also told us a "B" button was a garage door opener (this car doesn't have one) and that we had to buy a protection package to keep the factory warranty, which was not true.
We paid in full on August 1. On September 2, Jessica texted that all title paperwork was complete and DMV could take 12 weeks. On Friday, October 2, DMV told us there was still no transfer record and the car was still in the previous owner's name. Our texts and calls that day were not returned. On Monday October 5, because I no longer wanted to deal with the dealership, I called DMV myself and waited about an hour. DMV told me the dealer had finally submitted the paperwork this morning, and the transfer is now in progress - more than two months after I paid in full.
Desi was kind. The rest of this experience was dishonest and extremely disappointing.
