Great Service
BYOP's replaced the starter on my 1998 Nissan Frontier while I waited! They communicated well and kept me up to date in the repairs. Will be back.

Ruined a $60,000 truck
If I can give 0 stars, I would. Went in to get an alignment on my boyfriend’s truck. It is a 2020 GMC sierra 2500 durmax so somewhat of an expensive truck. We dropped it off at open (8am) and did not hear back until 5pm. We called multiple times for updates around noon and my phone call got disconnected multiple times. Worst part about this experience was the accident that occurred with his truck. During the alignment, the front passenger side slipped off the machine holding it in the air. This caused the passenger fender to be ruined, the passenger door was bent in places, and a lot of damage under the truck. The owner (Martin) did not disclose the extent of the damages on the vehicle when he called my boyfriend at 5pm. He also didn’t disclose that the truck was not turning on. We decided to involve our personal insurance and get a police report. Martin was being hostile towards us making that decision. When I asked for his insurance information, he stated that “Texas doesn’t require them to have insurance” and that the BYOP was going to pay for it out of pocket. Whole situation seemed sketchy and we did not trust his opinion on the care for the truck. Martin also used unprofessional language that involved him saying “well I don’t understand why you have to involve insurance when we are paying for it out of pocket”. His tone was very unprofessional and made the experience worse. I only came to this shop because I know a specific mechanic that works there and I trust. I understand accidents happen and this was a “freak” accident, but the process and experience after was the worst part.

Refusal to give me an itemized receipt
The manager, Martin, is refusing to give me an itemized receipt of my repairs. My car was totaled shortly after getting those repairs and my insurance company is willing to. Reimburse me for all of the repairs as long as I get them itemized. This man is costing me over $2700 because he will not give me an itemized receipt. What the heck is he hiding? He is also refusing to answer the phone when my insurance company calls him. Sounds like bad business to me. I need that itemized receipt ASAP!

Do not have your car worked on at the shop ever
Had my car sent to the shop by I a tow truck. I had a diagnose that it needed an alternator and a don't buy another shop but that shop was like so high-priced and in high sight. I should have left it there to be worked on. It would have been a better job than what bring your own parts does. So they called and told me it was ready. My dad picked it up, drove it to my house. And he said that there was no cool air coming out of my air conditioner which was not what I took it in for. Found out that there is No Freon and that when they hook the alternator up, the alternator was really loose. And also the grounding wire wasomehow touching the insulation around my air conditioner line and it burnt it. So we have to replace that line. We also tested the alternator and it was at 19.3 V which was super high and was causing my battery to get really hot and to swell. So I assume my battery is messed up and now I might have to Purchase a new battery at two hundred and eighty nine dollar. The mechanic that is working on it for me. Said that everything was loose on my car that the air conditioner compressor and bolt was about ready to fall off. And that there were a couple things that were not plugged back in such as my radiator fans. And I have tried to reach out to them so many times they've only reached back a couple times and told me to tow it back over there. They would look at it, but they didn't Tell Me that they would Take Care of the Issues that they did not fix properly. They told me they would replace the part. This place is a huge huge rip-off and a target. Women especially and I know something about cars. And that freaks them out. All the people who have had shoddy work done by this company needs to get together. We need to get an attorney to get them shut down and are money back.

Stay away, robbed me.
I towed my car to swap alternator, " Extraction " is their thing. If the bolt doesn't fall out by itself they charge you. I spent over $1700.00 and they didn't give me my old part back and to find out, it was just connector. The connector was completely melted, it was never the alternator and they saw it and chose to rob me. No words can explain my anger.

2020 Dodge charger
I came in with my bumper hanging. I drive a 2020 dodge charger nice vehicle so it was a bit of a buzz kill. I showed the staff here and with confidence they said they could help me out and they did. The finishing results were really nice. You couldn’t tell my car ever had anything going on. Highly recommend.

Vehicle Maintenance
I stopped by to get a quote on my vehicle for some parts. I was able to get the part replaced same day with quick service. They gave me great information and things to stay updated with the tune ups. Will definitely return for the rest of my vehicle parts and tune ups.

I will not return/Over price
I recently transition from Florida to Texas "San Antonio" I went to introduce myself to the company known as Bring Your own Parts located 9510 W Loop 1604 North San Antonio, TX 78254. I took this liberty of learning about this company, when I should had check all of the reviews first. I was looking for a new auto place where I can take all of my vehicle for tune-ups and repairs if I need to now that my new home will be in Texas. For example for the last 10 years I have taken my vehicle to one location in Florida and they have always taken care of me. Plus I am a retired disabled veteran, which I received 10% to 15% discount with the auto shop in Florida.
To my surprise only being here in Texas for three week with one of my vehicle Ford F150, my vehicle was broken into and thank God nothing was taken, just things was turn up-side down.
My driver side door handle was broken and to make a long story short. I went to the dealership being that I can received up to 15% discounts on part. I purchases the new handle and took my vehicle to Bring Your Own Parts the address listed above. The first thing I notice was my GPS was discounted. The thought and question would be why when the auto company suppose to be working only on the driver door and has nothing to due with my engine or anything else for that matter.
Next, I received a text from the auto shop informing me of other things wrong with my vehicle when I only brought it there for one issue and one issue alone. The auto company claim that I needed struts with springs and mounts and rear shocks, but this is the real kicker if I allowed them to repair labor only it would cost me $1,430.33. I had to go back to Florida to bring more things back to Texas and I asked the shop owner where I take my car to for the last 10 year how much would it cost to have the same work bring your own parts was charging me and the total bill would be only $461.00, which include tax. and there would not be any additional charge for shop supplies as Bring your Own Parts charges in the amount of $65.75 I guess when you deal with this company, do not forget to take your own tools for them to use because they charge you for everything.
Back to my final bill to have my door handle repair was $199.00, not including tax and shop supplies which I think was additional $7.00 and I forgot how much was the tax. So I paid a little over $200.00 to have a door handle replace concerning my own parts.
Finally I contacted the shop manager/or owner with a smile questions: How does the company decided on the prices for repairs or etc...Does the company use a scale or due they charged by the hour and if so, how much does the company charged an hour?
To-date I have not received any respond concerning my question.
I suggest all reader to review each and every person complaint to see if its worth taken your car to this company for any type of work to your vehicle.
I will keep looking for a honest respectful auto repairs shop that I can do business with and that would be able to help me with all of my vehicle needs.
God bless the reader to my post.

STAY AWAY FROM LOCATION 6610 Bandera road san antonio texas 78238
Let me start off by saying iv brought a car to this location about 6 months ago and had no issues but when I brought a diff car yesterday to get the alignment checked it was a shit show !! I dropped the car off at 9am was told would have it fixed by the end of the day . Towards the end of the day I called around 4 pm and was told (BY THE OWNER ) the alignment was good but the car had many issues and was still steering to left while driven . He asked if I hit anything or crashed I said no why is there obvious damage under the car . His response was well no but let me call you back ill send pictures after I talk to the technician. 530 came by and I had a gut feeling something was up so I showed up rite before they closed to find the car not only barely hooked up to the machine but the technician literally sitting on top of my hood ! I go inside and they tell me I'm not the only car being worked on and they haven't got to my car yet ( noting they said it would be done today and they had said at 430 in the call that the car had many issues) plus I pulled up to my car not only hooked up to the machine but the technician sitting on it ! Knowing they where caught in a lie he stuck with they hadn't worked on the car yet ? ? so I took my car and headed home ? and look at that it ran perfectly and the alignment was fixed lol ? ? see what lying does for you Bring Your Own Parts Bandera location! Trust me when I say this company is up to no good and the owner was the one telling me all the lies ! He owns several locations so I'm sure the whole company is shady ! Please Trust me when I say Stay Away From Bring Your Own Parts !!

Biggest Scam Ever!!!! Do Not Use Bring Your Own Parts
What started out as a free diagnostic for booking online... I was charged for. I was told it was the water pump and bought the part I needed.... I asked if they needed me to buy anything else for it (antifreeze) and was told no.... Guess who decided to fill my vehicle with straight water that I later had to get pumped out in order to have fresh antifreeze. Then I was told my timing chain cover was leaking.... this is a huge project and apparently they broke my timing chain cover because they replaced it instead of just putting a new gasket.... Guess who ended up with oil that was so watery it was ridiculous (had it replaced with my normal Royal Purple and they showed me the old oil)? They broke my K&N air filter at Bring Your Own Parts and didn't tell me.... they just threw my loose filter (that was sliced off with a razor instead of unscrewing it) into the housing without it being attached. Everything was loose under my hood that they touched!!!! I never felt more ripped off in my life.... I ended up spending $2500.00. I will never return and will tell everyone I know what a rip off this place is... even people I do not know... If you are thinking about taking your vehicle their.... don't.... I am not even sure how they remain in business....literally made me cry (was mad at myself for falling for their scam). If I had any money left for a lawyer... I would sue them.
