Work OK but damaged car
Was having a parasitic drain on the battery. Ended upo having to haver the aftermarket remote starter removed and a new dash wiring harness. Car was in shop for almost 3 weeks. Came out and hopefully the electrical is fixed (need to let car sit for a while to know). Bad news is there is considerable damage to the car. There is a large dent in the rear driver’s door plus scratches on the inside driver door jam, shift knob, emergency brake lever & glove box. The car did not go in damaged as they suggest. Was waiting for them to do the right thing before posting but as expected they denied everything. They said they would look at the interior damage and address it as a courtesy. When asked to check their cameras they said their cameras only go back 2 weeks. Interesting that they kept the car for just over that???

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way about your experience. Our goal is always to repair vehicles properly while treating every customer and their vehicle with care and respect.

Regarding the damage concerns, the condition of every vehicle is documented when it arrives at our shop. In this case, the exterior damage referenced in your review was present when the vehicle was dropped off and is visible in the inspection photos taken before any work began. Those photos were included in the digital inspection that was sent to you prior to repairs being approved.

We understand how frustrating it can be to discover damage on a vehicle, but based on the documentation from the time of drop-off, the dent and scratches mentioned were not caused while the vehicle was in our care.

To clarify a few other points in your review: the vehicle was parked in a shared lot two storefronts down rather than directly in front of our building, which is why our exterior cameras do not show the drop-off. Our camera system retains footage for approximately one month, but the vehicle was not in the camera’s view prior to us moving it into the shop.

The length of time the vehicle was with us was due to the decision to use a used wiring harness rather than a new OEM unit. Because the harness had to be sourced and shipped from out of the area, it took additional time to arrive. Had the new dealer part been selected, the repair would have been completed sooner.

Even though the documentation shows the damage existed before we began work, we still offered to look at the interior concerns as a courtesy because we always try to help our customers when possible.

If you would like to review the inspection photos or discuss the situation further, we would be happy to go through everything with you directly.
