My Google review is the most comprehensive one, and it includes a reply to them. But basically this shop got so greedy that all they saw were dollar signs when they agreed and told me that I needed a new engine for my Volvo not knowing that they had never worked on a Volvo before, that this was their very first Volvo.
After months and months of problems and after paying out thousands of dollars. Multiple visits where they claimed it was sensors, because every time I would bring it into them, they would run codes and say oh it's this sensor oh it's that sensor. After trying to saying something MAJOR was wrong!
They replaced the engine and failed to adjust the timing, replace the water pump, replace the wiring and all the other things that were listed on the back of the receipt from the place that I purchased the engine from. The warranty paperwork went with the engine block, which went to the shop, when I asked for the receipt multiple times, they told me they could not locate it. So when I finally got my copy from the company directly and that's when we discovered all of the items that they failed to do.
I wrote them a letter demanding some type of solution because my feeling is they should have never taken this job in the first place.
After they received a registered letter from me they then had the nerve to respond to my Google review saying that they tried to get in touch with me at the number that I listed. As of today June 1st 2025 I still get text to this day from the shop about services due on my vehicle. So they are just outright lying about that.
I had the vehicle assessed by another mechanic who I wish I had met before this all went down. He heard me talking about it at church and he at his own cost came got my vehicle towed, by then it would NO LONGER RUN, he assessed it and wrote up everything that was wrong with it. His first statement to me was. I have NEVER seen a worse installation job, it was terrible, in his 17-year career of owning an auto repair shop that specializes in higher end vehicles, such as Volvo, Mercedes etc. He said it was the ABSOLUTE worst he's ever seen, he's said there were SO many problems that the vehicle was now a total loss. He said he bets all of those sensors that they made me pay to replace, starting just WEEKS after the replacement engine was installed, never actually needed to be replaced he said. He stated it was basically in layman's terms, they never made sure the new engine could "talk/communicate" to the rest of the vehicle systems, basically.
I'm going to make damn sure I warn as many people as I can, so they are aware of the type of business that this shop does. Whatever their reviews are that's fine, the fact is, they should have never taken the job because they had never worked on that type of vehicle. And then lie in your reply to me saying you tried to call me, it's funny, when I still get texts to this day from your shop about services due on the Volvo. You really think I sent a demand letter via registered mail and messed up my number. You had my vehicle for 3 FN months pretty much in and out and you ALWAYS CALLED to tell how much to the SAME NUMBER!!!
