2018 Genesis G80 5.0 AWD HTRAC 420 HP

I bought this vehicle brand new with zero miles on the car and at the beginning was enamored by all aspects of the vehicle. At 1000 miles of regular driving of the automobile, the check engine light came on and the engine hiccupped at 400-500 rpm. It has been at the dealer service department ever since and the dealer still has not gotten to the root of the engine issue with the vehicle. It has been almost 2 weeks and they still have not fixed the problem. In addition, the brakes squeeled to a complete stop a few times during the first 2-3 weeks of owning the car and it was with regular city driving. It is unclear how this situation is going to turn out, but not very happy about the situation.

review was fine but didn't have a selection allowing me to indicate that the primary vehicle I was looking for was a 2018. The most recent choice of year I was able to choose was 2017 though I actually leased a 2018 G80.

Love my G80 Sport!

I have only had my 2018 G80 sport a month or so but it is excellent at everything I have asked it to do. Genesis did a great job sorting the systems and functions to make them as intuitive as possible. Next week we will drive from Delaware (East coast) to Oregon (West coast) and may have more comments upon our return.

Great Car!!!!

The G80 Sport is a great all around car for those who desire a combination of luxury and sportiness! Love the styling and Polar Ice is a beautiful color that gets many compliments. Power and acceleration exceeded my expectations. I am extremely happy with my purchase of this great vehicle!
