Great vehicle but has too many problems

It's great to drive, looks good, interior is very nice, very quiet, and fun to drive. I have 2 GV60s and I constantly have to deal with taking the car in for repairs (what at under warranty). Of all the new cars I've bought over the years, each of the 2 2024 GV60s have had to be taken in to deal with one problem or another way more frequently than any of the other cars I've had. One of the cars spent 3 months at the dealership out of it's first year. Both cars have issues and too many to list here. One car the A/C sometimes doesn't blow cold air even though it's turned on. Turn the car off and on again and it then works. The other car has its parking sensor go off all the time while sitting in traffic and its cluster display does not come on for a while when starting the car in cold weather. None of these can the dealership repair, even though they can reproduce them. Both cars are currently waiting for parts to fix the rear latch plate cover which broke on both cars within a month of each other. So the design of the car is pretty good, but the engineering and production is lousy. Many of the problems seem to be flakey software. On top of all this, the ominous shadow of an ICCU failure looms. Genesis/Hyundai has not fixed that problem despite multiple recalls and have issues software fixes to lessen the probability, but they still keep happening. I'm almost at the point of lemon lawing one of them and buying a different brand EV, just to be sure that we have at leas one reliable vehicle. I am somewhat unique in that I have two of them and when one of them exhibits incorrect behavior Genesis telling me that "that's the way it's supposed to work" is a lie because the other one works correctly.

Fun, but Poor quality and Reliability

The car’s ICCU has blown for the second time and o have only 7,000 miles on it. If you don’t know what an ICCU is, google it. Hyundai/Genesis have huge problems with that part and it disables their electric vehicles when it (literally) explodes. The car is fun to drive and luxurious, but reliability is poor. My car has spent a lot of time in the shop. During the first failure I got a loaner. This second failure no such luck. So these uber bills are on me I guess. I can no longer trust this car to provide me with reliable transportation. Especially for longer trips.

It’s Ok, but needs improvement and better Quality Control

The car is alright, but for the cost I would not expect for it to have been in the service shop for recalls and warranty as much as it has been. Replacing both axles at 10k miles is unacceptable and it took almost 3 weeks for the entire process. The loaner cars were not what I pay monthly for and cost me more to drive as they were not EVs.

Great materials, terrible ride

The most amazing mistake

This was the greatest car I ever owned that had to be bought back by the manufacturer. I loved every second of owning it every part of it was amazing. Luxurious, top, notch, but in the end, no parts availability and over four months in the shop. I will say, genesis made it right, but so disappointing for such a great car.

Fun small SUV with a good amount of technology

The GV60 is a fun drive with plenty of room for such a small car. Overall I have very few complaints. It is definitely not the fastest or sportiest drive (comparing to a brand like BMW) but it still holds it own very well. The dealership experience is great. I was well cared for every single time I went in. I only moved away from the GV60 due to the late release of the 2026. There were a few recalls during the 13 months of ownership and while fast charging is available as is Tesla charging, the Tesla charging is a slower speed than a typical fast charger.

MIxed feelings

Love the vehicle, performance and interior of the car. Dealership experience for Genesis is subpar for a "luxury brand". Battery defect took 75 days to repair and full battery replace because parts were not available. Totally unacceptable for a lease, with no comparable loaner car while car was in shop
