Trouble with service and vehicle

I have owned a G80 , had it longer then any other car, 5 years . I have multiple cars but usually trade them every 3 years. That car was great , the service and Genesis concierge service was excellent. You took the dealership from St Augustine Hyundai and I had to switch to Hyundai of Hyundai/ Genesis of North Orlando. They are horrible to deal with. Never get a loaner . I had my A/C go out in a $66,000 GV70 sport , they dented me to wait 5 days to bring it in, I insisted and they gave me a 2 day wait, it was 88 degrees and I had a business trip of 3 hours each way, . About 5 weeks earlier I had an electrical issue snd had no electronic screen or radio. Now no A/C. The car is 24 months old and only 20,000 miles. The quality has gone down a lot. I a tidally have 5 friends that I recommend the SUV’s to. 4 bought GV 70’s. One bought the GV80. I have another friend who is looking at a Lexus and I told him to look at the GV 70. Now with all the problems from the car issues Oroke’s worst dealer I told him to go with the Lexus. My daughters wife have had 3 Hyundais never had a problem. I also have a 4 series BMW and I have had many luxury brands. I am not sure what had happened. Just not satisfied

Pleasantly surprised

I moved from a 2018 BMW X6M to the GV70, and was very pleasantly surprised in build quality, tech, and reliabilty. I have worked in the automotive industry for my entire career, so have a unique perspective on manufacturing quality, etc having worked in a factory for part of my career.

Don't Bye a Genesis

The look and the design of the car is nice, however after having this car less than 2 years, the AC went out, the trim on the car faded and needed to be replaced and the service departments for Genesis sucks. I haven't felt like a luxury car owner since purchasing this car.

Feels great to drive

The Genesis GV70 is a great car. It’s unique, stylish, comfortable, and powerful. The interior touch points feel good, it’s exciting to drive. Very quiet inside and the active sound design gives the motor a pleasing sound. The technology and special features delight all my senses and it’s nice to look at as well. Overall, I wouldn’t want to drive anything else.

Great Car with one exception

As a car person and a person who worked with NHTSA directly on auto manufacturers recalls, there is one item that the 2024 Genesis need to be fixed, both fron and back brakes squek like a 20 year old car when backing up, pretty embarassing for a $60k vehicle. My Genesis dealership has been great to work with, but need to get the back brakes replaced or rotors changed, to elminiate this.
