Front brakes squealing in reverse. Sounds are so loud and the dealer

Poor response to known brake issues. Even though I contacted company HQ as encouraged by dealer service manager your customer service team could not help

Issues

The power trunk still gets stuck and does not always open when the button is pressed. The front passenger side power window is not immediately responsive when the button is pressed from the driver door. The Android Auto is glitchy.

The SUV is loaded with great features and fun to drive.

The V6 Turbo SUV is sporting both in looks and responsiveness. This is complimented by a comfortable cabin. The features are ideal with heated and cooled seats plus massage for the driver. Easy to navigate and utilize the functions while driving. We thought out controls.

2025 GV70 review

I love my Genesis overall. It's very comfortable and rides smooth. I have a few comments that might help in future models. (1) I don't like the map. The street names are hard to read, and the gray building blocks are distracting & unnecessary. (2) I wish the mileage were better in the city. (3) When I turn the vehicle off, it sometimes 'jumps' a little, which shouldn't happen. (4) The side mirrors are hard to see out of due to the shape, even though they are pretty. (5) I wish there was more room to put papers, glasses, phone, etc for storage ( when not charging phone).

Great car

Overall a great car except for the wireless interface with Google Maps or Wayz. The on board GPS is not good. If you want to use the onboard Sirius and Wayz it takes several unnecessary "key strokes/ switch selections"to get there.

I wouldn't buy it if I had it to do over.

Disappointed and it has several issues. Two primary ones are: the infotainment knobs get very hot but the Genesis technician was unable to fix because they didn't get hot while vehicle was running in service drive. Second, the backseat sensor is infuriating. I would not have purchased this vehicle had I known. When I get fuel on a road trip and go in to go to restroom, I leave my dog in crate in the back (seats are down and seatbelts are not engaged). When she moves the alarm goes off and I am unable to shut it off with the key fob. I was told by Genesis advisor there is no dog override. This happens multiple times on a road trip. The alarms goes off for 5 minutes while I go to the restroom and my dog is in her crate. Horrible design.
