Poor assembly quality, vehicle reliability don't meet luxury standard

Shockingly poor assembly quality and poor vehicle reliability. Abandoned by dealer--promises to provide service and warranty work in the future were not kept. Battery life is absurdly short. Seats are uncomfortable for smaller, thinner people. Have to drive almost 400 miles round trip for service now. As delivered, the hood could not be opened! Car leaks. Large sunroof is behind you and so heavily tinted that it is basically useless. Even the top sound system is mediocre. Genesis has not yet learned how to make a luxury vehicle and support it with the kind of experience owners in this class expect.

Brake rub

Overall the car is good. Online checking shows Genesis has a problem with brake noise. I have a recorded message where a service manager said to who he thought was his manager I was being difficult and it was something they. Plus do nothing to fix. He also told my case a manger that cars in the south have that problem. Well, I have a 2025 GMC Sierra and 2026 GMC Acadia that don’t make that noise. It’s not a “South” problem it’s a design/engineering problem for Genesis. Google GV70 brake noise problem

Satisfied with the Vehicle. The extra expense for warranties was high, but the factory warranty was not applied. Vehicle had 5200 miles but was pre-owned.

Very Unhappy

The car does not have bluetooth connectivity and I was not made aware of this prior ro signing the contract. Also there were 3 recalls on the car that were extremely difficult to get scheduled to be fixed. Also when I took the car in to be fixed they were supposed to replace the front and rear wiper blades. This was not done and additionally the car was returned to me with 1 missing the passenger side wiper blade. I called repeatedly to get reimbursed (I have photos) but no one called me back. I had to replace the wiper blades on my own and an additional expense. Communication while my car was being serviced was terrible. I could not reach my service person to find out when my car would be ready.
