Genesis good and bad

The car styling is great. Perfect size and lay out. There are 2 issues that I am not satisfied with 1. the locks without the fob - sometimes the doors unlock and other times they do not. 2. The wireless charging cubby is not working

I love my car but…

…it’s reliability has been somewhat problematic: Right after we got it, the water pump had to be replaced; It has had 2 major recalls; the engine light came on twice and we were advised to stop driving the car and see a service center immediately. I took it to the dealership and both times it had to do with the power train. As I write this, my car care app says “power train DTC PO2900 originated 7/20/26”. I don’t have a lot of confidence in the service department at the dealership. I am not sure I don’t have a lemon. I find the passenger seat much less comfortable than the driver seat. It is too hard and doesn’t adjust as well as the drivers seat. I am ready to see some new styling on the body. Little if anything has changed on its exterior over the years. The car still gets ‘looks’ when parked or driving by. If the dealership were better I might feel more confident with the car. Why does my app say it is still having problems?

Exceeds expectations, head turner for sure

The entire Genesis experience is top shelf. From bold, attractive, stylish looks, to fantastic tech, luxurious interiors, it is very pleasing to the eye. The GV70 is super responsive, very smooth ride and can be both fun to drive when you want it, and very comfortable easy going when you are feeling in that mood. We have a local stand alone Genesis dealer and the service center, sales, and management are all class act. The car is still priced in the luxury budget but you absolutely get more features and performance at similar price point vs comparable BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc. Extremely happy and proud to drive a Genesis

My next car will still be a Genesis

This is my first time having an SUV. I love it. This is a luxury vehicle that has most of what you would want. I live in Arizona, so the one thing I wish it had is a cooling option for the seats. All the car finishes, details, handling and the Genesis team have been fantastic.

Great Brand

Great vehicle with just a few minor problems that are in the process of being taken care of. There is a rattle in the rear of the vehicle that we are having difficulty finding. Others have reported this issue and in fact the loaner 2026 GV 70 I am driving has the same rattle, only worse.

Genesis Home Run

My GV 70 3.5 Sport is a great looking, great handling and powerful V6. It’s fun to drive and always easy to get compliments on it. It’s smaller than the GV80 I traded out of but it’s all good.
