Great vehicle with minor flaws

Overall a fantastic vehicle. Very quiet, smooth drive and great build quality. A few issues I've had so far: The battery fully died with less than 500 miles on the car The fan squeaks at low (level 3) wind speed Things that could be better: Fuel economy Headsup display on 2.5T sports prestige package. They do offer it in other countries so I don't understand why not in US

Great car for my wife

my wife loves the car but is still learning all the gadgets that come with the car.. I love to drive the car also but only can on the w/ends. Little expensive gas wise right now see ing that you have to use a higher octane So far the GV70 Sports Prestige has met all expectations and we do get many compliments on the look of the vehicle.

Didn't meet my expectations.

The electronic aspects are not user friendly. Everything seems to just change on its own. The brakes squeal when in reverse. Have taken it into the dealership 3 times. The 4th time since the 7th of April, they still have it. Lot of problems with rear brakes which are directly responsible from when vehicle was built at factory. All of the material that is emailed me regarding the use of certain items don't even pertain to my vehicle. Some of them are for vehicles that were built before mine. They don't relate. Sometimes I truly believe Genesis left hand does not have a clue as to what their right hand is doing. Don't mean any disrespect, but it is really getting old.

Still learning the car. Don’t drive it that much. I think the acceleration can be choppy with sudden engagement on gas pedal. Could be quieter when driving. Don’t like the switch into idle mode at traffic stops. Too jerky!

overall review is not very good. the controls are way to complicated.

individual profiles are a joke. air conditioningand heated seat buttons are to close together. to many useless features. SIMPLE!

Great Value SUV

Striking upscale exterior that you don't see every mile of the road unlike Mercedes and Lincoln. Very quiet interior, little road or engine noise. 4 cylinder engine is plenty fast for an SUV. The transmission is very smooth, but the tip in can be abrupt if you try to hustle it. I've seen it written it has an interior of a $100K car for $50K and I concur. The two rotary knobs on the console are still occasionally confused after a year and a half, but not a deal breaker. The blonde/ivory/beige interior keeps the interior bright and pleasant. The spoked wheels for the 2026 GV70 are really boring so I swapped my 2025 spider web wheels when I traded it. I've had fewer software recalls on the 2026 than I did on the 2025, so that's a plus. The panorama touch screen is impressive. The dash top tablet on the 2025 GV70 blocked my wife's view of the right corner, so thanks for the new screen. I hated you deleted the heated steering wheel for 2026, that was a bougie delight that I miss.

My first Genesis experience. Always wanted one.

It is a great car but I found the GV70 to be a little cramped once I drove it for a while. But it is sophisticated and very stylish. I would have preferred the GV 80 model if I could have afforded it.

Disappointing

Connected Services has not worked since we purchased the car in late March. Customer service has been very helpful but the car has now been with the tech guys for 2 weeks without any fix of the issue, even with the installation of a new head unit.
