Poor choice

The vehicle was in the shop for repair more than I had any car. Poor electric circuits . Front lamp died just after the warranty ended and had to pay for expensive bulb which shouldn’t fuse in one year

Number of dealerships

Dealerships are few and far between here on California’s central coast. Our nearest dealer for maintenance was in Thousand Oaks, CA (about 170 miles). The dealership is now closed so now we must drive to the Central Valley for service. It would help to have more dealerships or allow the local Hyundai dealers to change the oil and perform basic services.

Great car with minor issues

We love this car. Comfortable, no repairs needed, great to travel in, lots of stuff for the price, and great looks/style. Only complaints are; when you dial the temperature up or down you almost always accidentally turn on the heated/cooled seats. They're right next to each other and it's very easy to happen. Another item is the automatic rear door opener when you walk behind the car with the remote on your person. It opens even when you don't want it open. Guessing there may be a way to turn this function off but haven't looked for it. These two are minor complaints as no car is perfect. The 3rd item might just be us, but getting in and out of the front seats seems weird. Can't put our finger on it but it just seems awkward for lack if a better word.

No Regrets!

In 2023, I was the proud owner of a paid-off Chrysler 300. Unfortunately, in June of that year, we were involved in an accident that totaled the vehicle. Faced with the need for new transportation, I test drove and evaluated more than 20 different models. For many years, while raising our children, we drove an SUV. But by 2023, we had become empty nesters, and I truly thought my SUV days were behind me. That is, until I test drove the GV80. From the moment I got behind the wheel, I knew this would be my next vehicle. And now, months later, I can confidently say I have no regrets. The GV80 is, without question, one of the most enjoyable, safe, comfortable, and beautiful vehicles I’ve ever owned. It exceeded every expectation. Again, no regrets.
