Extremely Pleased GV80 Owner!

My 2023 GV80 has been an absolute joy to own and drive! It delivers on every level…comfort, styling, performance, reliability/etc. I am extremely impressed with the quality and value of the vehicle. I have definitely recommended Genesis to family/friends in the market for a new car(s).

Sold me a lemon and Hyundai couldn’t care less

Severe creaking heard inside the vehicle emanating from the rear spoiler, especially when car is in sunshine. Heard when driving and making turns. Couldn’t be repaired because it clearly is a design flaw that company doesn’t acknowledge. Others have same issue online. Transmission chugs within first three gears. Transmission began leaking after only 9000k miles and just 12 months. Charging pad causes iPhone to get hot and renders barely any charge to phone. Loading of the navigation system and infotainment system upon startup is inconsistent. Hyundai Genesis treats the customer poorly, is patronizing, and dismissive. The loaner and valet program when car is in for service is a joke. Often it’s not available for 4 weeks. Save years on your life and get a different luxury vehicle from another manufacturer.

All is good except riding

GV 80 is a beautiful car and nice inside and out, but I don’t like the way it rides. The suspension is not good, and it’s not a good ride.

Beautiful and Opulent car, knowingly made piirly

This car is gorgeous and drives like a dream but something WILL go wrong and given everyone has these issues all maintenance is backed up. Yes. It will be covered by warranty. But good luck getting a time slot or loaner car, even with a Genesis flagship dealer. I can’t imagine if I had to go through a Hyundai dealer

Repair parts not available

My 2023 GV80 was hit into the front tire. This affected the drive train and axle, etc. Had to wait for months for Genesis parts to get my car back. Genesis was deprioritizing parts for repairs. That caused me a significant hardship as I did not have my car for months.

2022 to 2025 with my 2.5t and prestige gv80.

Overall , no major complaints. It’s time for built in dash cam for the U.S. and facial recognition, remote operation of the power windows among other tech. Fine tune suspension, Comfort is Comfort..!!, Sport is Compliant Sport..!! , more horsepower for the 2.5T.

Exceptional Vehicle & Beautifully Designed

My 2024 GV80 3.5T signature edition matte green with green leather interior is the most beautifully designed interior I’ve seen in a vehicle. It’s so moody, masculine, slick - makes me feel like a BOSS. (And yes, I like the steering wheel!) It drives like nothing else - feels like you’re gliding on air. There are only a few minor annoyances I could identify - but overall, damn near perfect.

I've owned An Audi Q7, so when I say that the Genesis GV80 is the BEST vehicle, that is saying something special! So comfortable, many safety features, and the Genesis Support is also awesome.

Unhappy with service and the car. Purchased new in 2023.

I was very excited buying this car in 2023 brand new. I really liked the style and design of the car. Although I did not know a lot about Genesis before purchasing. I have had several issues with the car some address and some outstanding. GPS system not working, horn did not work, side paneling was defective determined by dealership and still has not been replaced - going on a month no response from dealership. The roof is leaking water when it rains heavy, dealership said they could not find the issue so now when it rains hard the inside of my car takes on water and it’s running my interior. I’m at a loss for words. I purchased this car for over $80,000 brand new 2 years ago. The service has been less than satisfactory and for a premium vehicle I have to bring it to a Hyundai dealership that is incredibly overwhelmed in Meriden,CT - they are not well positioned to take on the Genesis demand. I am not sure what to do and the issues I have that are still not addressed are concerning. I really enjoy the ride and the look of the car.
