Great vehicle

Great vehicle. Love the tech. The interior is just stunning! I get lots of looks from people. On the bad side. Make sure you have a dedicated Genesis dealer near you. The ride is rough with the 22” low profile tires. 3 weeks after my purchase I noticed the sunroof glass was cracked. Genesis would do NOTHING about this. Terrible response from Genesis. My local dealership helped me out.

Too many issues

I began having issues with my Genesis GV80 within 6 months of purchase 1. Turbo oil line leak. The engine had to be removed 2. Multiple screen black outs 3. Fuel line leak recall 4. Engine stop and car turned off at red light

Genesis GV 80 Presitege

Feature rich and excellent styling. Beware of rattles in the body either initially or later on, and several recalls. Make sure your dealership can service what they sell. My GV 80 would have been a 10 were it not for the rattles and recalls in the first year.

My 2025 GV 80 was a lemon and had to be returned 3/26, now own 2026

I love my 2026 GV 80 V6 prestige so far so good. I wish that you guys would make this vehicle and other Genesis more senior friendly seniors are the one that’s spending $90,000 for these vehicles and it’s so difficult to use so highly technical.

Car Won't start in Cold Weather

The car did not start in cold weather. 10+ times it was dead in the morning. Dealer coul dnot fix it. Turned it in under the Lemon law.

Potentially serious transmission problem

I have experienced a recurring transmission overheating problem which occurs on road trips of over 200 miles. The warning instructs the driver to immediately pull over and leave the engine running until the transmission cools. This has happened on 5 different occasions and the wait time is usually 10 to 15 minutes before the car signals it's okay to continue to drive it.
