2025 GV80

Overall, I'm very impressed with this vehicle. I tell others, I went to look at Genesis so I cold cross it off my list of 3rd row SUV type vehicles - obviously I was more impressed with the Genesis GV80 than the other 3rd row SUV's in it's class. The multi-function drivers seat is extremely comfortable for long drives - the best I have ever had - my legs do not fall asleep or start aching like they use to. (I'm 6'1", 185 lbs) The acceleration is great and the different driving modes actually do make a difference - you can tell a difference between them where in some vehicles I have had, you really don't feel a difference when switching from one mode to another.

Beautiful car. Incredible tech. Best warranty. Perfect for family!

I listed the numerous pros and literally haven't found a con yet below. From the minute I spoke to the sales rep (Farah) on the phone, walked into the dealership (Genesis of Plano) and got the info/test drove - it was seamless. Traded in an Audi Q5 and was nervous about getting another SUV. This car has everything and more that the Audi did and drives luxuriously. The tech is big time up to date, easy to set up and use, intuitive , and it's like they thought of what I wanted and WOULD want. My kids love it and it's spacious in the back seat with a ton of room in the trunk. We could have done a 7 seater but didn't care to use a 3rd row. The car, the warranty, the ease of buying, the financing and literally everything about the purchase process and my experience 1 month in has been utter joy!

Does anybody really know what's going on?

I love my GV80 and in most ways it is everything I want in an automobile. The car is *extremely* sophisticated and has many features I really have no idea how to take proper advantage of. Genesis would be well served if they put out regular "hints and tips" on the Genesis; a monthly, or quarterly document that describes in detail some of the more obscure (but still very useful) features. The other issue I have is that my dealer does not instill much confidence that they understand how the car really functions either. I have had a handful of minor issues (car forgets settings, or is intermittently unable to switch properly between user profiles) that my dealer just shrugs their shoulders over when I try to get the issues addressed.

New Vehicle, Same Problem

The dashboards on Genesis vehicles reset while driving. My previous GV80 had to be return to the dealership and I am on my 2nd new vehicle in 9 months. This week, the screen in my new vehicle reset while I was driving, creating an incredibly unsafe situation.
