Getting used to the controls

I believe that some of the dash board controls could be made easier to operate. The compass on the front screen is way too small. The fragrance diffuser is not really worth it.

Upset.

I purchased the car brand new and it has about 800 miles on it now and so far there have been four times I've come out in the garage to crank it up and go in the battery has been dead. I called the local Genesis dealer and left my name and number on their recorder and have not heard back from them but I didn't expect much because when I was a Geniuses owner before I couldn't get him a call back then either. I'm scared to take the vehicle to the dealership because they're just full of excuses when something is wrong and I don't really want to hear it. So my Genesis GB 80 prestige that is over $84,000 it's just sitting in my garage with the dead battery.

In the shop 3 times in the 1st 4 months

3 software problems and a battery replacement in the first 4 months of my 2025 GV-80 ownership. Very difficult to get someone to answer the phone or call back at dealer service. Unfortunately I can't make a reservation on line, so if I don't have it towed, it takes days to finally schedule an appointment to get the software fixed. I am hoping this resolves before it hits the lemon law and I have to fight about taking it back.

The vehicle is awesome

The Genesis GV80 is definitely one of my favorites. I owed 5 Mercedes, this tops 4 of the. The E400 drop top Mercedes was my favorite, but the GV80 is at the top of my food chain.

Our 2025 GV80 3.5 Prestige

We love our new GV80. It's beautiful, inside and out. It's comfortable, smooth and quiet. It's engine is powerful and makes the car quite quick, and it allows for easy passing when needed. The eye monitor is irritating, and notified me many, many times when I have my eyes on the road, perhaps because I drive with sunglasses, and I'm six foot seven inches tall which I can only assume the monitor is not calibrated for. Gas mileage is very poor which is a real problems.

Best car I have ever owned

My 2025 Genesis GV80 is an incredible vehicle and I love it. However, on 05/08/2025 the dashboard went haywire briefly for about 2 minutes at least. And it had a number 7 in the left lower corner. It hasn't happened again, so I thought the system reset itself. Note! I love this car. It's the right size for comfort and luxury.
